TARC Inc. plans to brighten the holiday spirit again this year when the lights at its Winter

Wonderland are turned on in November. It will be the 21st year for the fundraiser at Lake Shawnee. Winter Wonderland, open Thanksgiving Day through Dec. 31, is a 2-mile drive-through holiday light display that benefits TARC, a not-for-profit organization that supports more

than 2,500 children, families and adults with intellectual, developmental and related disabilities and delays in Topeka and Shawnee County. “Everything that we raise goes towards programs that we provide for the folks we serve. … So 90 cents of every dollar goes into programming,” said Sherry Lundry,
