Northwest Cattle Company Ltd. Neil Campbell & Sons, now North West Cattle Company Ltd., began as an average cow/ calf operation. Thanks to our breeding program, black and red cows and M.C. Quantock Super Baldie bulls, we have developed into a well-known ranch through Alberta and northwestern British Columbia, consisting of approximately 1800 cows to date. We have been using only M.C. Quantock Bulls and have acquired about 100 bulls since developing our herd into what we like to call a quality group of livestock. Our calf sales are well represented not only through live Auction Market sales, but also through online bidding. As our herd is kept very consistent through our ongoing program, our sales prove to be at the high end of the price range each year. We have had up to 1500 calves sold in approximately one hour. This is a result of being able to sort and sell in large enough groups to fill anything from a semi-load to a stock trailer load of well matched calves. Thanks to having only red and black cows bred to M.C. Quantock bulls people know what they are buying each and every year. The words of advice given to us from our consistent buyers are “Don’t change a thing that you are doing.” At this point, we have done exactly that.
