IPU EL TIGRE 112D
Well here he is, the powerhouse El Tigre son, 112D. He’s been an absolute standout since he was a young calf. He is mothered by a black blaze face TNT Tanker female that is a tank, good uddered, big volumed and is out of a black blaze face half Fleck cow. She has raised our #1 and #2 adjusted weaning weight bulls the past two years. That’s a producer! In last year’s sale her El Tigre son sold for $14,500 to Pearl Valley Simmentals of Ross, ND. He was one of my personal favorite bulls. His full brother this year, 112D, was our heaviest weaning bull at 1020lbs and had an adjusted 205 day weight of 954lbs, the #1 ranked bull. He’s as thick as they come, huge big quarter, big topped, long, great haircoat, lots of testicle and has a great disposition. We plan on using this bull in our own program as we will draw some in herd semen for our own use. He’s homo polled and hetero black. He’s definitely a powerful feature bull.

A moderate framed, super stout Captain Black son out of Maple Lake Miss Me 2002. This beautiful 786T daughter is the start of a new cow family here at LaBatte Simmentals. She’s what we think is the ultimate type cow, moderate, big bodied, angular, feminine, super fronted and good uddered. She’s the kind that when you’re on a pasture tour you ask “Who’s that cow?” And she’s not only good to look at, she’s a producer too. Her first calf, a High Voltage daughter, sold in our 2015 sale as our second high selling heifer at $15,250 to Rust Mountain View in ND. She had a baldy bull in last year’s sale selling to Todd Knupp at Weyburn. SK and this year has this outstanding Captain Black son in the sale. We feel this is one of the real feature bulls in the sale. He’s moderate, thick, thick, with so much hip in him, lots of middle, loose made, great haired and attractive. He’s been one of the favorites since he was a baby. He’s homo polled and homo black by parentage.
