Johnson Livestock Annual Bull Sale

Page 67

590 and 591 are a matched pair of beefy flush brothers. Their sire, a brother to the famous Rito 707, died in a barn fire at stud, so wasn’t used as heavy as 707. Being born in 1968, his EPD’s are behind but there’s no question he breeds well, when you look at this pair of bulls. For all we don’t know about the sire, we could write a book on the dam Evening Tinge 57R. She was a dominate producer here, selling more sale topping progeny than any other cow at JL. Just take a look at the last eight bulls in the book, all with a 57R daughter for a dam.
