Impact 9th Annual Angus and Charolais Bull Sale

Page 5

From the desk at T Bar... The 9th edition of “Impact” promises an exciting day west of Saskatoon. For the past eight years, this sale has been a source of the industry’s finest Angus and Charolais, all under one roof, one day....a one-stop shopping centre for your herd sire needs. Each breed compliments the other as these breeds are the “staple” to the beef cattle industry. The folks from Triple L, Randy, Kim and Family come with their red division, featuring the first sons of “Kill Switch”....the Denver Champion Bull. In addition, the entire fall show team sells, offering producers the opportunity to get at the top of the pen. You will like the hair and shape of these red bulls along with their calving ease traits for your heifer pastures. In addition to the red program at Triple L, the black division has been growing in strength and quality... don’t hesitate on these top bulls! Predictable sires stem from great mothers...strong in maternal values and profitable with any sire mating. Jason and Shauna at J & S have one of the leading cow herds, both in genotype and maternal predictability. In building their program, Jason acquired the best genetics in the Black Angus breed. Raised on the rolling hills, these bulls are sound, thick, hairy and full of longevity. They offer performance without sacrificing calving traits.... so important in the industry today! Not to over shadow the Angus offering, the McAvoy Family bring two of the top Charolais bulls born in Canada in 2016. These two power machines were the most “kicked-up” bulls in the Agribition barn...approved by both breeders and judges where they captured both calf division titles. To add to the record, “Direct Deposit” was named “King of the Ring” just weeks earlier in Lloydminster over all-breeds bull calves. Most exciting about the McAvoy Charolais offering is the fact they could have brought several more from the pen at home and been competitive. The cream has risen to the top as Mike, Dean and their families have become leaders in the Charolais breed and present their powerful offering of profit-makers. The name for this sale is “Impact” and very fitting as these three progressive operations make an impact on their customers, fellow breeders, community and the livestock industry. Plan to be with us for a day of opportunity. Feel free to visit any of these breeders at their farms and preview the bulls and their mothers or give them a call and they will be pleased to assist you as to what bulls will fulfil your breeding needs. If we may be of assistance prior to or sale day feel free to call any of the T Bar Team or myself, we are willing to assist you in a professional, confidential manner.
