Welcome to another Impact Bull Sale. What a year its been. From hot and dry to crazy wet. An early snowstorm ending the early harvest , cold December ,and then a warm February. This province is totally unpredictable. Due to the crazy fall the animals where weaned later than usual but fed the same balanced ration that we always use to ensure longevity. The one thing that is predictable is the quality of the bulls and our commitment to improve the herd yearly. We believe in buying the best herd bulls for the traits we desire. Calving ease and good temperament are two of the necessities. You can tell by a few of the nipped ears our cows calve on there own. Once again we would like to thank our partners and friends the Georges and McAvoy’s for being great to work with and bringing such top quality animals to the sale yearly. As well I would like to thank the Hales for feeding the bulls. My family and Cameron for the daily operations of the farm. Lastly but not least the neighbors customers and friends for there continued support in our program.

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 9th Annual Impact Bull Sale. This year was a mind blowing one to say the least! At our place we had 80% of our land get hit with hail and 26 inches of rain from April 1st to October 31st. It took us till the middle of November before we completed harvest and had any straw baled up. On the bright side, our corn silage was amazing; averaging over 24 ton an acre and we were able to graze the cows until the middle of December. Due to the wet weather all year, our calves did not get weaned until the middle of December as well; this is why are weights will be a bit lower than usual. This years’ bull offering is featuring a few new Herd Sires include Mohnen Long Distance, Jindra Double Vision and Krebs Rocky. This years sale bulls have something for everybody; from bigger power bulls to your calving ease specialists. If you have any questions on any of the sale offerings please don’t hesitate to give me a call. We hope to see you on sale day but if you are unable to attend, please feel free to call me as I do offer a sight unseen program. The bulls will be semen tested and vet inspected prior to sale day. The 365-day weights and scrotal measurements will be available prior to the sale.
