Here’s a female that checks all the boxes for us. Blackbird 25D is derived from our most productive black cow families and sired by Crossfire, a bull we found at Bar H Cattle Company, the Hogbergs. We purchased Crossfire as a heifer bull but he has proven to be much more. His first calf crop at Six Mile was super consistent, moderate and efficient in their type. 25D fits that mold but with added look and a hip and leg that is tough to find in the Angus breed. AI bred May 10, 2017 to Koupal Kozi 418 (favorable to this service for a February calf). Pasture exposed to U-2 Alberta Prime 38D AND Remitall F Diesel 76D from May 29 to July 1, 2017.
