HETEROZYGOUS POLLED. FULL FLECKVIEH. NON DILUTOR. Munich is a long-spined, well pigmented son of the powerful Grinalta’s HP Ultra, and 3/4 brother to lot 70. We’ve been using Ultra for a few years now as an outcross pedigree in our Fleckvieh program. He adds performance while keeping the calves polled. Munich’s dam is a heavy milking daughter from our Sering cow family. She has produced high sellers in recent years going to Derek and Aimee Kolla and MacDonald Hills Ranch. Munich’s actual weaning weight was 975 pounds and he is the second highest bull for weight per day of age (WPDA).

We were looking to add some new genetics to our Fleckvieh program and where better to go than one of the first breeders of polled Fleckvieh cattle in Canada, Grinalta Farms of Alberta. Freestyle combines the genetics of Grinalta’s homo polled 102U cow with the super stout, easy calving Xander bull. Freestyle is a full brother to Grinalta’s HP Prime and a ½ brother to their Unique bull that has been used in many countries. As with embryos, birth weights don’t mean a whole lot as the calves are carried by a recip dam. In this case the recip went eight days overdue so one could expect his real birth weight would have been closer to 100 pounds if he was born on time.Freestyle was a favorite all summer as he was super stout and had a real presence and style about him. He was also part of our Agribition pen of bulls where he had many friends and stood second in class.

100% FLECKVIEH. NON DILUTOR. Frequencyis one of the two horned bulls in the sale and is the result of another embryo we bought from Grinalta Farms. His dam is the infamous Cherry cow that has done great things in their program, most notably being the dam of their Unique bull. His sire is FGAF Seldom, from the great program at Ferme Gagnon in Quebec. We also have a full sister in our replacement pen that we are quite excited about. Frequency is dark red, long bodied with excellent muscle shape through his hind quarter.
