The Parks and Recreation Department is proud to announce the annual Spring Egg Hunt. Join us for a morning filled with Spring Activities including Egg Hunt, Arts and Crafts, Face Painting and Much More!

�oin the �arks and �ecrea�on Department for our annual Splash into Spring Duck & Egg �unt. �here will be arts and cra�s and basket giveaways. �ar�cipants will be divided into three age groups. Be sure you don’t forget your swimwear and basket!

Egg Hunt Categories 3 and under 10:30 am (Parent Participation allowed for 3 and under only)

4 - 6 yrs. 10:45 am 7 - 9 yrs. 11:00 am 10 - 12 yrs. 11:15 am Parent Hunt 11:30 am *Egg Hunts will start promptly at advertised time

Don’t forget your baskets! Persons with disabilities requiring accommodations in order to participate must contact the Surfside Community Center at least 48 hours in advance in order to request such accommodations

Surfside Residents

Free of charge for Surfside Residents. Proof of residency is required. Hotel guests are also welcome free of charge, but must present hotel ID. No guests of Surfside residents will be able to attend.

All non‐residents must be accompanied by Surfside Resident and pay $5 admission per person. Proof of residency is required at �me of entry. Concession stand will be closed.

Town of Surfside Higher Education Scholarship The Town of Surfside Higher Education Scholarship funds will be awarded to the successful student applications upon evidence of registration in an accredited post-secondary institution. The Town of Surfside would like to promote higher education by providing two $1,000 scholarships. The scholarships will be awarded to two deserving Town of Surfside graduating seniors interested in or intending to pursue post-high school course of study. Continuation of education must be at either college/university level or other post-secondary educational institution. The applicants will be selected by the Town of Surfside Scholarship Committee.

CRITERIA: 1.) Applicant must be a Surfside resident for at least 5 years. 2.) Applicant must be a graduating high school senior in the year of the award.

DEADLINE for all

applications is Friday, April 27th, 2018 by 5:00p.m.

NO EXCEPTIONS

3.) Applicant must have a minimum graduation GPA of 3.0. 4.) Applicant must have a financial need for the scholarship. 5.) Applicant must demonstrate a positive-impact through community/civic involvement as determined through letters of recommendation and responses included in the application.
