The young and radiant Carrie Underwood, who recently got engaged to Mike Fisher, is shaking things up a bit for her upcoming nuptials. It turns out they won’t even have a wedding cake; they’re doing cupcakes instead. Although they haven’t announced a date yet, Underwood already knows that she will be ordering her cupcakes from IveyCake in Franklin, Tenn., which is run by Ivey Childers – the wife of Underwood’s bass player, Mark Childers. Underwood told CMT Radio Live, “Ivey makes the most amazing cupcakes in the universe.” Another non-traditional couple that is set to marry this year is singer Katy Perry and actor/comedian Russell Brand. The last time Katy Perry was in a wedding dress was in her ‘Hot and Cold’ music video. Although her ‘50s-esque dress was super hot, her real wedding dress will probably be a bit more tame, considering that the dress in the video converted to a mini skirt. Brand is even
more excited than Perry. Perry told MTV, “He’s a total bridezilla. He’s like a freak, man. You should see — he’s always, like, buying bride magazines. Every time we go out for breakfast he’s like, ‘can we just stop and get a bride magazine?’” Another blushing soon-to-be bride picking up bridal magazines is Calista Flockhart. After eight years of dating ‘Indiana Jones’ star Harrison Ford, they have supposedly set a date to wed in 2010. They are said to be planning a ‘green’ wedding at an environmentally friendly location with organic foods. Probably the most anticipated wedding of 2010 is that of Rachel Bilson and longtime boyfriend Hayden Christensen. The beautiful couple has been engaged since 2008 and rumors of wedding plans have been circulating ever since.They met in 2007 and secretly began dating, there were even rumors of a
