A fundraising appeal for 2023

The Waddy Performance Centre, Music Centre and Gym Expansion—A Christmas Appeal A new performance centre, music centre and gym expansion is planned to be built within the ‘cold shell’ space below the Third Quad (between the Ivan Head and McMillan Buildings). This centre will greatly enhance music, dance, drama, and fitness programmes and will be named in honour of the Hon Lloyd Waddy who has made an incredible contribution to the College during the past seven decades. The development of these facilities will mean the College will provide unparalleled amenities for current and future Paulines. The expanded College Fitness Centre will be unrivalled among the University Colleges. The Waddy Centre will be the only space of its kind on campus proving a 275-seat flexible theatre space for Mummers, chamber music concerts, jazz, pop, cabaret, tutorial and lectures, conference and dinners. This space is supported by a pre-function area, a ‘green room’ / ensemble rehearsal space and two music practice rooms.
