ALEXANDRA HALLÉN:

(SE, 1987) har som kunstner mange facetter. Hun er komponist og performer, og hun udforsker grænserne for sig selv og publikum. Ved at bruge objekter bringer hun virkeligheden ind i kunsten og fremkalder dermed ægte følelser og kropslige reaktioner. Performeren i Halléns værker er ikke længere en formidler af komponistens følelser: hun er nødt til at leve sine egne virkelige følelser og kropslige fornemmelser for at udføre værket. Alexandra Hallén blev tildelt Det Danske Komponistselskabs Musikpris i 2019 og er i gang med en Advanced Postgraduate Diploma i Komposition på Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium.

Alexandra Hallén is a multi-faceted artist, composer and performer who explores the boundaries of herself and the audience. Her use of objects brings reality into the art, and thus provokes forth genuine emotions and bodily reactions. The performer in Hallén’s pieces is no longer a mediator of the composer’s emotions: she has to live her own real emotions and bodily sensations to perform the work. Alexandra Hallén was awarded The Danish Composer Society’s Music Prize in 2019, and is currently undertaking an Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Composition at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus.

BÁRA GÍSLADÓTTIR

(IS, 1989) er komponist og kontrabassist bosat i København. Hendes værker bygger på idéen om lyd som et levende væsen. Hun har studeret komposition ved Islands Kunstakademi, Musikkonservatoriet i Milan og Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium. Hendes musik er blevet fremført verden over af ensembler og orkestre som Athelas Sinfonietta, DR Symfoniorkestret, og Ensemble Recherche. Bára Gísladóttir is a composer and double bassist living in Copenhagen. Her pieces are generally based on the idea of sound as a living being. She has studied composition at Iceland Academy of the Arts, The Milan Conservatory of Music and The Royal Danish Academy of Music. Her music has been performed all over the world by ensembles and orchestras such as Athelas Sinfonietta, The Danish National Symphony Orchestra and Ensemble Recherche. She has received the Carl Nielsen and Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen Talent Award, Gladsaxe Music Award, Léonie Sonning Talent Award and Reykjavík Grapevine Music Award.

CLAUDIA MOLITOR

(UK/DE, 1974) er komponist og kunstner. Hendes arbejde svæver mellem musik og lydkunst på tværs af moderne kunstarter, herunder video- og installationskunst. Hun turnerede for nylig med et stadigt udviklende værk Decay rundt i Europa og USA, og hendes værk Auricularis Superior repræsenterede Storbritannien ved World Music Days i Tallinn, Estland i 2019.

Claudia Molitor is a composer and artist. Her artistic work floats between music and sound art, stretching across modern art practices, including video and installation art. She recently toured with a developing work Decay around Europe and the United States, and her work Auricularis Superior represented the UK at the World Music Days in Tallinn, Estonia in 2019.

DAWN SCARFE

(GB, 1980) har en PhD i Sonic Arts og MMus-komposition fra Goldsmiths University of London og en BA i Fine Art fra Oxford Brookes University. Dawn Scarfe holds a PhD in Sonic Arts and MMus from Goldsmiths University of London and a BA in Fine Art from Oxford Brookes University. She is an Associate Professor of BA (Hons) Sound Arts at the London College of Communication. With various devices, she comes close and explores fragile connections between people, places and sound. Her works have been shown at, among others, Tate Modern, Full of Noises and New Mart Seoul.

DYLAN RICHARDS

(CA, 1992) er en Aarhus-baseret komponist, kurator, performer og eventproducer. Hans værker udforsker rummet mellem kammermusik, eventproduktion og intermediekunst. Efter at have studeret musik på Reed College og derefter privat hos Johannes Kreidler, flyttede han til Danmark, hvor han i dag er indskrevet på efteruddannelsen på Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium. Han er medstifter og medkunstnerisk leder af ensemblet Current Resonance, næstformand i Ung Nordisk Musik Danmark, bestyrelsesmedlem i Aarhus Unge Tonekunstnere og meddirektør for MINU_festial_for_expanded_music.

Dylan Richards is a composer, curator, performer, and event producer based in Denmark. His works explore the space between chamber music, event production, and intermedia art. After studying music at Reed College and then privately with Johannes Kreidler, he moved to Denmark where he is currently enrolled in the post-graduate program at the Royal Academy of Music. He is a co-founder and co-artistic leader of the ensemble Current Resonance, vice-chair of Ung Nordisk Musik Danmark, board member of Aarhus Unge Tonekunstnere and co-director of MINU_festial_for_expanded_music.

FABRIZIO DI SALVO

(CH, 1981) er lydkunstner, og hans værker bevæger sig på grænsen mellem lydinstallationer, eksperimenterende musik og scenisk kunst. Med installationer, performances og objekter leder han efter transformationsprocesser, der viser bevægelse i skrøbelige eller ustabile tilstande. Fabrizio di Salvo is a sound artist whose works move on the borders between sound installations, experimental music and scenic art. With installations, performances and objects he searches for transformation processes that show motion in fragile or unstable states. He often circles around uncertain possibilities and create intuitive experimental cartographies.

Failures, disappointments, surprises, encounters and knowledge gained are all part of the process. His work has been shown at venues such as Kunsthalle Bern, Milano Musica, Wien Modern, Ars Electronica Digital and Theater Roxy, amongst others.

HELENE TUNGELUND

(DK, 1995) er folkesanger, harpenist og sangskriver med baggrund i både rytmisk og folkelig musik. Hun er uddannet rytmisk sanger fra Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium og studerer i skrivende stund en kandidat i folkemusik på Syddansk Musikkonservatorium. Hun er en del af vokalgruppen Nevesta’s Voice, der fortolker folkesange fra Europas rige vokaltraditioner og arbejder med udveksling af sange på tværs af kulturer. Trioens debutalbum Mother Tongues fra 2020 blev kåret som ’årets danske rootsudgivelse’, og Nevesta’s Voice modtog i samme ombæring titlen som ’årets nye danske rootsnavn’. Helene fortolker og udforsker i øvrigt sin egen skandinaviske kulturarv og arbejder med at bygge bro mellem popmusik og folkekultur i soloprojektet Sylfide.

Helene Tungelund is a folk singer, harpist and songwriter with a background in both rhythmic and folk music. Educated from the Royal Academy of Music she is a rhythmic singer, and is currently studying for a master’s degree in folk music at the Danish National Academy of Music. She is part of the vocal group Nevesta’s Voice that interprets folk songs from Europe’s rich vocal traditions and works with the exchange of songs across cultures. The trio’s debut album Mother Tongues from 2020 was awarded ‘Danish roots release of the year’, and Nevesta’s Voice also received the title as ‘this year’s new Danish roots name’ that year. Helene interprets and explores her own Scandinavian cultural heritage and works in the interplay between pop music and folk culture in her solo project Sylfide. JAMES BLACK

(UK, 1990) er komponist, som ofte centraliserer performative og teatralske elementer i deres værker. James Black har studeret saxofon, musikvidenskab og komposition på Oxford University, og læst deres kompositionsstudier færdige på Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium i København. I 2020 modtog James Black Statens Kunstfonds store arbejdslegat, i 2019 Carl Nielsen og Anne Marie Carl-Nielsens Talentpris og i 2018 Pelle-Prisen.

James Black is a British composer who often centralises performative and theatrical elements in their works. James Black studied saxophone, musicology and composition at Oxford University, and completed the composition studies at The Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen. In 2020 they received The Danish Arts Foundation work grant, just as they in 2019 received Carl Nielsen and Anne Marie Carl-Nielsens Talent Award and in 2018 the Pelle Award.

JEPPE JUST CHRISTEN

SEN (DK, 1978) er uddannet i komposition og musikteori fra Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium og arbejder med forskellige ensembler som eksempelvis Ensemble Recherche, Scenatet og Athelas Sinfonietta. I sin musik bruger han blandt andet elektroakustiske og hjemmelavede, ombyggede instrumenter. Han har studeret hos Peter Bruun, Ivar Froundberg, Hans Abrahamsen, Niels Rosing-Schow og Bent Sørensen, ligesom han tog sine postgraduate studier ved Hochschule für Musik, Karlsruhe, hos Wolfgang Rihm.

I 2007 modtog han Wilhelm Hansenprisen og i 2009 modtog han stipendie fra Léonie Sonnings Musikfond.

Jeppe Just Christensen is educated in composition and music theory from the Royal Danish Academy of Music and works with various ensembles such as Ensemble Recherche, Scenatet and Athelas Sinfonietta. In his music he uses, among other things, electroacoustic and homemade, rebuilt instruments. He has studied with Peter Bruun, Ivar Froundberg, Hans Abrahamsen, Niels Rosing-Schow and Bent Sørensen, just as he took his postgraduate studies at the Hochschule für Musik, Karlsruhe, with Wolfgang Rihm. In 2007 he received the Wilhelm Hansen Award and in 2009 he received a scholarship from the Léonie Sonning Music Foundation.

KATHY HINDE

(UK) er audiovisuel kunstner, der gennem installationer, forestillinger og stedsspecifikke oplevelser ønsker at pleje en dybere og mere kropslig forbindelse til andre arter og jordens systemer. Sammensat af håndlavede genstande, elektronik og en blanding af digitale og analoge systemer, repræsenterer hendes arbejde en krydsning mellem kinetiske lydskulpturer og nyopfundne instrumenter. Hun modtog Ivor Novello-prisen for lydkunst i 2020, og hendes arbejde er vist i flere forskellige internationale sammenhænge.

Kathy Hinde is an audiovisual artist who through installations, performances and site-specific experiences aims to nurture a deeper and more embodied connection to other species and the earth’s systems. With hand-made objects, electronics and a blend of digital and analogue systems, her work represents a crossover between kinetic sound sculptures and newly invented instruments. She received an Ivor Novello Award for Sound Art in 2020, and her work has been shown internationally. KIM MEJDAHL

(DK, 1990) er født og opvokset i Skælskør og uddannet fra Det Fynske Kunstakademi og Det Kgl. Danske Kunstakademi. Krydsfeltet mellem film, lyd, installationskunst og musikudgivelser præger Mejdahls arbejde, og i 2013 begyndte han at optræde med visuelle koncerter i den elektroniske undergrund under aliasset Kim Kim. Sidste sommer viste multikunstneren sin tværæstetiske tilgang til musikken, da han med stor isvaffel og grøn kasket gjorde sig bemærket i Kunstnerkolonien på DR2. Mejdahl er netop blevet præmieret af Statens Kunstfond som en del af talentprogrammet Den Unge Kunstneriske Elite.

Kim Mejdahl is born and raised in Skælskør and graduated from the Funen Art Academy and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Mejdahl works in the crossroads between film, sound, installation art and music, and in 2013, he began performing visual concerts in the electronic underground as Kim Kim. Last summer, the multi-artist showcased his cross-aesthetic approach to music, when he made a name for himself in Kunstnerkolonien on Danish television. Mejdahl has just been awarded by the the Danish Arts Foundation as part of the talent program The Young Artistic Elite.

LISA STREICH

(SE, 1985) har studeret komposition og orgel i Berlin, Stockholm, Salzburg, Paris og Köln. Hendes værker er blevet opført i Sverige, Tyskland, Israel, Frankrig, Østrig, England, Japan, Canada og USA, og hendes musik er blevet spillet af blandt andet Deutsches

Symphonieorchester Berlin, Ensemble Recherche og Nouvel Ensemble Moderne ved blandt andet MATA New York, Ircam Paris og i katedralen i Köln. Af priser kan nævnes Orkesterprisen fra Anne-Sophie Mutter Foundation, Busoni-prisen ved Akademie der Künste Berlin og Komponistprisen af Ernst von Siemens Fonden.

Lisa Streich has studied composition and organ in Berlin, Stockholm, Salzburg, Paris and Cologne. Her work has been presented in Sweden, Germany, Israel, France, Austria, England, Japan, Canada and USA, and her music has been played by, among others, the Deutsches Symphonieorchester Berlin, Ensemble Recherche and Nouvel Ensemble Moderne at, among others, MATA New York, Ircam Paris and the Cologne Cathedral. Awards include the Orchestra Award from the Anne-Sophie Mutter Foundation, the Busoni Award at the Akademie der Künste Berlin and the Composer Award by the Ernst von Siemens Foundation.

MIKHAIL KARIKIS

(GR, 1975) er en græsk-britisk kunstner, der bor i Lissabon og London, og arbejder og udstiller internationalt blandt andre under Venedig Biennalen i 2011, Sydney Biennalen i 2014 og Tate Liverpool i 2020. Med levende billeder, performance, lyd og fotografi arbejder han med fællesskaber uden for samtidskunstens kontekst. Han søger efter strategier, der forstærker stemmerne hos dem, der kan være politisk overset, marginaliseret eller strukturelt negligeret.

Mikhail Karikis a Greek-British artist, living in Lisbon and London, working and exhibiting internationally among others at Venice Biennale in 2011, Sydney Biennale in 2014 and Tate Liverpool in 2020. With moving image, performance, sound and photography he collaborates with communities outside the context of contemporary art. He searches for strategies that amplify the voices of those who are political overlooked, marginalised or structurally neglected.

MINAMI SAEKI

(JP, 1990) er filmskuespillerinde, sanger, komponist, koreograf og danser. Hun har studeret klassisk ballet, moderne dans, klassisk sang og meget mere. Som skuespillerinde har hun været med i film som Village on the Village af Yukihiro Kurokawa og Natsu no MusumetachiHimegoto af Teiichi Hori, ligesom hun har koreograferet og optrådt i Shugo Tokumarus musikvideo til sangen Rum Hee. Desuden har hun lavet to kortfilm, er aktiv som sangerinde og har optrådt med blandt andre Taku Sugimoto, Leo Dupleix og Seamus Cater med både pop og eksperimenterende musik.

Minami Saeki is a film actress, singer, composer, choreographer and dancer. She has studied classical ballet, contemporary dance, classical singing and more. As an actress she has been in films as Village on the Village by Yukihiro Kurokawa and Natsu no Musumetachi-Himegoto by Teiichi Hori, just as she has choreographed and performed in Shugo Tokumaru´s music video for the song Rum Hee. Furthermore, she has made two short films, and is active as a singer and has performed with, amongst others, Taku Sugimoto, Leo Dupleix and Seamus Cater in the fields of both pop and experimental music.

MISATO MOCHIZUKI

(JP, 1969) er blandt andet uddannet fra The Conservatoire National Supérieur i

Paris. I en kombination af vestlig tradition og asiatisk sans udvikler Mochizuki spændende rytmer og usædvanlige lyde med stor stilistisk frihed, ligesom hendes musik næres af litteratur, videnskab og filosofi. Hun forsøger at transformere refleksioner om mennesket og dets forhold til verden ind i sin musik. Hendes katalog består af omkring 60 værker, herunder 16 symfoniske kompositioner og 15 værker for ensemble, som er blevet opført på internationale festivaler såsom Salzburg Festival, Biennale di Venezia, Lincoln Center Festival, og har modtaget adskillige priser.

Misato Mochizuki is educated from, amongst others, The Conservatoire National Supérieur in Paris, Mochizuki works with a combination of Occidental tradition and the Asiatic sense of breathing. Her style of writing is exciting rhythms and unusual sounds of great stylistic freedom and her music is nourished by literature, science and philosophy. She tries to transform reflections concerning human and its relationship to the world into her music. Her catalogue consists of about 60 works today, including 16 symphonic compositions and 15 pieces for ensemble, which have been performed at international festivals such as the Salzburg Festival, the Biennale di Venezia, Lincoln Centre Festival, have received numerous awards.

NIKLAS BRANDENHOFF (DK,

2000) læser i øjeblikket en bachelor i klassisk komposition på Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium. I 2020 deltog han i Esbjerg Ensembles årlige workshop for komponister, og i år indgår han i et samarbejde med Scenatet og Duo Dan/Nie. Hans kompositoriske fokus er i det musikalske partitur, kroppen og nødvendigheden af at vente.

Niklas Brandenhoff is currently studying his Bachelor in classical composition at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus. In 2020 he took part in Esbjerg ensemble’s annual workshop for composers and this year he will collaborate with Scenatet and Duo Dan/Nie. His main compositional interests are in the musical score, the body, and the imperative of waiting.

NJYD (DK) er en unik kvartet, som siden deres undfangelse har arbejdet på at formidle nye kompositioner på en relevant og fængslende måde. Den utraditionelle besætning: fløjte, saxofon, guitar og percussion skaber nye lyde og nærer eksperimenter, der fører til udvikling af moderne musik. NJYD arbejder i rammer væk fra den traditionelle koncertsal og når ud til et ungt publikum. Kvartetten optræder både som musikere og arrangører af samtidskoncerter, der omfatter samtidskunst og ny teknologi.

NJYD is a unique quartet which since their beginning in 2014 have worked on communicating new compositions in a relevant and captivating way. The untraditional crew: flute, saxophone, guitar and percussion creates new sounds and nurtures experiments leading to development of contemporary music. NJYD works in spaces away from traditional concert halls and reaches out to a young audience. The quartet performs both as musicians and organisers of concerts that include contemporary art and new technology.

OLGA SZYMULA

(PL, 1986) er komponist med base i Aarhus. Hendes værker tager form af koncerter, plader, filmmusik, audiovisuelle installationer og

performances. Hun har en MA i elektronisk komposition ved Dansk Institut for Elektronisk Musik. I 2016 fik hun tildelt et udvekslingsprogram for komposition og billedkunst ved Iceland Academy of the Arts og i 2018 fik hun tildelt et individuelt komponistudvekslingsprogram i Tokyo.

Olga Szymula is a Polish composer based in Aarhus. Her work lives in both concerts, records, film music, audiovisual installations and performances. She has an MA in electronic composition from the Danish Institute for Electronic Music. In 2016 she was awarded an exchange program for composition and visual arts at the Iceland Academy of the Arts, and in 2018, she was awarded an individual composer exchange program in Tokyo.

PAULA TOPPILA (FI)

er kurator og administrerende direktør i kunstorganisationen Pro Arte Foundation Finland og kurator for IHME (FI), der med afsæt i ny kunst arbejder målrettet med økosociale problemstillinger, lige fra institutionsstruktur til produktion af det enkelte værk. Hun har en MA-grad med speciale i kunsthistorie.

Paula Toppila is Executive Director and Curator of the Pro Arte Foundation Finland since 2007, and she has commissioned and produced works of art for the IHME Contemporary Art Festival (2009-2018) that works purposefully with issues regarding ecological sustainability, from institutional structure to the production of the individual work. QUATOUR DIOTIMA

Quatour Diotima is one of the world’s most in-demand chamber ensembles with Yun-Peng Zhao on violin, Léo Marillier on violin, Franck Chevalier on viola and Pierre Morlet on cello. Its name evokes a double musical signifiance: Diotima is at once an allegory of German romanticism and a rallying cry for the music of our time. Quatuor Diotima has collaborated closely with several of the greatest composers of the late twentieth century, notably Pierre Boulez and Helmut Lachenmann and regularly commissions new works from the most prominent composers of our time, including Toshio Hosokawa, Miroslav Srnka, Alberto Posadas, Mauro Lanza, Gérard Pesson, Rebecca Saunders and Tristan Murail.

RAGNHILD

MAY (DK, 1984) har en baggrund indenfor visuel kunst og komposition, og kombinerer en skulpturel praksis med

performance og lydkunst. Humanistiske teoridannelser som posthumanisme, feminisme og sound studies samt eksakte videnskaber som akustik, circuit building og programmering har også alle relevans for hendes praksis. Hun har udstillet, performet, afholdt workshops, artist talks og forelæst på kunst-, musik- og uddannelsesinstitutioner i Europa, USA, Egypten og Japan. Hun specialiserer sig i tværæstetisk lydkunst gennem studier på Bard College i New York, hvor hun tog sin Master of Fine Arts i Music/Sound og på Kungliga Konsthögskolan i Stockholm, hvor hun tog sin Post-Master of Fine Arts.

Ragnhild May has a background in visual arts and composition, and combines a sculptural praxis with performance and sound art. Humanistic theory such as posthumanism, feminism and sound studies, as well as exact sciences such as acoustics, circuitbuilding and programming are also all relevant for her work. She has exhibited, performed, given workshops, artist talks and lectures at arts, music and educational insitutions in Europe, USA, Egypt and Japan. She specialises in the inter-disciplinary field of sound art through studies at Bard College New York where she received her Master of Fine Arts in Music/Sound and at Kungliga Konsthögskolan, where she did her post-Master of Fine Arts.

RAQUEL CASTRO

(PT, 1976) arbejder med forholdet mellem lyd, miljø og urbanisme. Raquel Castro er lydlandskabsforsker, dokumentarinstruktør og kurator, og har en ph.d. i kommunikation og kunst ligesom hun er forsker ved CICANT – Universidade Lusófona. Hun er grundlægger og leder af Lisboa Soa Sound Art Festival og International Symposium Invisible Places. I 2021 blev Lisboa Soa udvalgt af det portugisiske filmakademi til at være en del af Netflix-kataloget.

Raquel Castro works with the relationship between sound, environment and urbanism. Raquel Castro is a soundscape researcher, documentary director and curator, and has a PhD. in communication and art just as she is a researcher at CICANT – Universidade Lusófona. She is the founder and director of the Lisboa Soa Sound Art Festival and the International Symposium Invisible Places. In 2021, Lisbon Soa was selected by the Portuguese Film Academy to be part of the Netflix catalog.

RECONVERT

(CH) blev grundlagt i 2013 af Roberto Maqueda og Víctor Barceló. I 2018 sluttede Lorenzo Colombo sig til gruppen. Gruppen blev født som en naturlig forlængelse af de sidste halvfjerds års percussionrepertoire for at blive et identitetsstempel, der afviser generiske definitioner og satser på et kontinuerligt arbejde mellem forskellige kunstnere, hvor spørgsmålet om akademiets dogmer er i centrum. De arbejder i Europa, Amerika og Asien med koncerter og workshops i forskellige institutioner såsom Royal College of London, Universidad Tres de Febrero i Buenos Aires, Columbia University i New York m.fl.

reConvert was founded in 2013 by Roberto Maqueda & Víctor Barceló. In 2018 Lorenzo Colombo joined the group. The group was born as a natural extension of the percussion repertoire of the last seventy years, to become a seal of identity that rejects generic definitions and bets on a continuous work between different artists in which the questioning of the dogmas of the academy is in the foreground. reConvert carries out activities in Europe, America and Asia with concerts and workshops in various institutions such as the Royal College of London, Universidad Tres de Febrero of Buenos Aires, Columbia University, New York, among others.

SAŠA SPAČAL

(SI, 1978) er postmedia-kunstner og arbejder i feltet mellem forskning i levende systemer og samtidskunst med fokus på forviklinger af miljø-kultur kontinuum og planetarisk metabolisme. Saša Spa al is a postmedia artist working with research of living systems and contemporary art, focusing on entanglements of the environment-culture continuum and planetary metabolisms. Through interfaces and relations with soil agents, she addresses vulnerabilities in the posthuman condition and entanglements of mechanical, digital and organic logic in contemporary bio- and necropolitics. Her works have been presented at Ars Electronica, Centre de Cultura Contemporània Barcelona and National Art Museum of China. She received the Starts Prize in 2021, the Japan Media Art Award in 2020 and the New Technological Art Award in 2019.

(DK) ledes af Anna Berit Asp Christensen og arbejder i et felt mellem ny kompositionsmusik og konceptuel kunst – ofte med en overraskende krops- og sanselig tilgang til samspillet mellem musik, kunst og mennesker. Gennem 14 år har Scenatet placeret sig som et af Europas førende ensembler indenfor ny kompositionsmusik og kunst. Vidtrækkende danske værker, store internationale optrædener og urpremierer er naturlige elementer i Scenatets arbejde. Ved at bringe et vidtfavnende repertoire ud til utraditionelle spillesteder, anerkendte festivaler og kulturelle brændpunkter verden over, gør Scenatet den mest interessante eksperimentelle musik og kunst bredt tilgængeligt lokalt og internationalt.

Scenatet is led by Anna Berit Asp Christensen and works with new compositional music and conceptual art – often with a surprisingly bodily and sensuous approach to the interplay between music, art and people. Within 14 years of existence, they have emerged at the top of the international landscape of compositional music and art. Danish pieces, major international appearances and world premieres are natural elements in Scenatet’s work. By bringing a diverse repertoire to untraditional venues, renowned festivals and cultural hubs worldwide, Scenatet makes the most interesting experimental music and art widely available, locally and internationally.

SHIVA FESHAREKI

(UK, 1987) er en britisk-iransk komponist, kunstner og dj med en doktorgrad i musik fra Royal College of Music fra 2017. Hun vandt BBC Young Composer’s Pris i 2004, The Royal Philharmonic Society Composition Pris i 2009 og Ivor Novello Prisen for Innovation i 2017. I et årti har hun været en pioner på både den klassiske, den elektroniske, såvel som dance-scenen. Hun har optrådt verden over i koncertsale, på kunstgallerier, festivaler og raves, og arbejdet sammen med flere bemærkelsesværdige kunstnere og ensembler.

Shiva Feshareki is a British-Iranian composer, artist and turntablist. She holds a Doctorate of Music in composition from the Royal College of Music (2017), and won the BBC Young Composer’s Award from 2004, The Royal Philharmonic Society Composition Prize from 2009 and the Ivor Novello Award for Innovation from 2017. For a decade, she has been a pioneer at the leading edge of both classical and electronic & dance music scenes. She has performed across the world in concert halls, art galleries, festivals and raves and has worked alongside a number of notable artists and ensembles.

ØSTEN MIKAL

ORE (DK, 1967) har udviklet SPOR New Music School siden opstarten i 2015. Han er uddannet komponist fra Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium og har gennem adskillige år arbejdet med at forene kunstneriske og pædagogiske processer i det skabende felt. Han er initiativtager til en række projekter, konferencer, udgivelser og workshops i ind- og udland og flere af hans arbejder er præmieret af bl.a. Statens Kunstfond.

Østen Mikal Orehas developed SPOR New Music School since its beginning in 2015. He is composer educated from the Royal Academy of Music and has for several years worked to unite artistic and pedagogical processes in the creative field. He is the initiator of a number of projects, conferences, publications and workshops in Denmark and abroad and several of his works have been awarded by e.g. The Danish Arts Foundation.
