We Are The Weather af Mikhail Karikis er en video – og lydinstallation, der udforsker vores forbindelse og fascination af vejrfænomener. Med Aarhus Musikskoles børnekor og folkemusiker Helene Tungelund viser Karikis, hvordan vi på forskellige vis udtrykker vores forbindelse til meteorologiske fænomener. Det varme sollys, turbulente storme og store klimaprotester. We Are the Weather understreger vores sammenfiltring med naturen, fejrer den og fortæller os, at kursen for at ændre klimaudfordringer ligger i vores hænder.

We Are The Weather by Mikhail Karikis is a video and audio installation that explores our connection and fascination of weather phenomena. With Aarhus Music School’s children’s choir and folk musician Helene Tungelund, Karikis shows how we express our connection to meteorological phenomena in different ways. The hot sunlight, turbulent storms and major climate protests. We Are the Weather emphasises our entanglement with nature, celebrates it and tells us that the course to change climate challenges lies in our hands.
