Little Learners - Ages 3-4 - Beginners

Children will be introduced to socialization, positive self-esteem, following directions, and simple learning concepts. Children will work on hand eye coordination and motor skills, while gaining independence through the use of circle time, music, songs, stories, play, arts and crafts. Food will be provided for cooking activities and may be provided for special events.

Kinder Prep - Ages 4-5 - 2nd year or more

This class prepares your child for Kindergarten/Transitional Kinder with age-appropriate activities, learning concepts, socialization skills and fun. Your child will gain understanding of shapes, colors, pre-phonics, literacy building (i.e. identifying letter sounds, writing the alphabet and simple words), number recognition, and counting to 30. The goal is to have fun, participate, and learn. Children must be able to use the restroom unassisted. All children must have valid immunization records on file by the first week of program. No child under the age of 4 years 9 months can be enrolled for over 12 hours of San Jose recreation programs per week. * Pay in-person or online. Scholarships are awarded as funding is available. ALL ACCESS SPORTS & RECREATION Specialized Programs All Access Sports and Recreation (AASR) provides a wide range of programs for individuals of all ages will all ability levels including those with ambulatory or cognitive disabilities, such as power soccer, cooperative dances, play camps and groups arts. for more information check out our website at http://sanjoseca.gov/therapeutics

BOBA MAKING FROM SCRATCH FOR KIDS

This class provides young children with the opportunity to learn about art through play and experimentation. While learning age appropriate skills, participants will explore different kinds of materials including glue, wood, recycled materials, beads, buttons and fabrics. Dress for a mess!

Ever wondered how the boba in bubble tea are made? Bubble tea or boba tea is a sweetened drink made of flavored tea, milk, and bubbles. The translucent, squishy bubbles called boba are remarkably easy to make. Come and sign up for this one-day adventure in making boba.

MINI-HAWK SPORTS CLASS

INDOOR SOCCER

This multi-sport program was developed to give 4-7 year-olds a positive first step into athletics. Sports are taught in a safe, structured environment filled with encouragement and fun. Through games and activities, campers explore balance, hand/eye coordination and skill development at their own pace. Participants should wear appropriate clothing and running shoes; bring a water bottle and sunscreen/hat. All children receive an award certificate, Skyhawks t-shirt and ball.

Come and enjoy the world's most popular sport played indoors. This could be your child's first time kicking a ball or they have been playing for most of their lives, we want to share our passion for soccer and while providing a safe and supportive environment for them. Our teacher will lead an encouraging environment designed to strengthen your child's cognitive abilities, develop their athletic skills, improve their soccer playing techniques, and build self-confidence through games, drills and activities.

BALLET/TAP COMBO CLASS Come join the fun!
