This program offers children between the ages of 3 to 5 years old an educational and recreational experience This program supports children's imaginative, physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development The San José Recreation Preschool Program prepares students for kindergarten success in a safe and welcoming environment
KINDERPREP
This class prepares your child for kindergarten with age-appropriate activities, learning concepts, socialization skills, and fun! Your child will gain a basic understanding of shapes, colors, pre-phonics, literacy building (i.e. identifying letter sounds, writing the alphabet, and simple words), number recognition, and counting up to 30. The goal is to have fun, participate, and learn. Children must be able to use the restroom unassisted. All children must have valid immunization records on file before the start of class Requirements for parent participation will vary by center
LITTLE LEARNERS

KINDERPREP
Esta clase prepara a su hijo/a para el kindergarten con actividades apropiadas para su edad, conceptos de aprendizaje, habilidades de socialización y diversión Su hijo/a adquirirá una comprensión básica de las formas, los colores, la pre-fonía, el desarrollo de la alfabetización (es decir, identificar los sonidos de las letras, el abecedario y las palabras simples), el reconocimiento de los números y contar hasta 30. La clase es divertida y apoya el aprendizaje y participación. Antes de comenzar la primera clase, los niños deben de poder usar el baño sin ayuda. Debe tener registros validos de inmunizaciones de su hijo/a. Los requisitos para la participación de los padres variarán según el centro.
LITTLE LEARNERS
