Get ready for summer fun as your budding artist explores the great outdoors with Young Rembrandts Our students will learn how to shade with color pencils in our lantern still life lesson. Our mountain boot drawing will give your child the opportunity to create a very detailed and well composed image A heightened awareness of design, pattern, and color is the emphasis in our raccoon graphic lesson Our vibrant geyser drawing will strengthen coloring skills Discover the fantastic world of drawing and Young Rembrandts Enroll your child today!

TWe are back to school and back to drawing with Young Rembrandts! This sessions selection of drawings introduces our students to a fascinating world of color, pattern, and design. We say goodbye to our favorite summer memory in our detailed still life drawing of a beach We explore color usage and composition in our silly monster and fire truck drawings You will be MOOOOOved with our stylized patterned cow drawing that not only challenges our technique but also our color scheme. Be a gymnastic star! Learn cartwheels, handstands, rolls, round offs, and much, much more! Parents are allowed to stay for the first 10 minutes on the first day of class and are encouraged to attend the last class for a great recital Wear a leotard, stretch pants, sweatpants, or shorts. Bare feet during class is suggested Children should secure long hair back in a ponytail

HIP HOP/JAZZ DANCE MINI GYM STARS

A great beginner gymnastic class teaching basic gymnastic skills, including movement exploration, balance, and coordination, and at the same time teaching agility and improving motor skills Parents are allowed to stay for the first 10 minutes on the first day of class and are encouraged to attend the last class for a great recital. SKYHAWKS BASKETBALL

This fun, skill-intensive program is designed for beginning to intermediate players Using our progressional curriculum, we focus on the whole player - teaching sportsmanship and teamwork Boys and girls will learn the fundamentals of passing, shooting, ball handling, rebounding and defense Participants should bring a water bottle and wear appropriate clothing and shoes

Grab your tennis racket and get ready to play! DANCE FOR FUN (iNCLUSION)

Come join us for some fun group dancing! Enjoy a new theme every week, with an open dance studio to dance your heart out! There is no right way to dance, so put on your dancing shoes and let's get up and dance together! This program focuses on fun with music, games, arts and crafts, movement activities, and a field trip This play program is designed for children with autism spectrum disorders Children should bring a sack lunch to class each week. Attendants will be required to pass a City of San Jose background check in programs that serve youth under 18 years of age

RANGER HIKE AT EMMA PRUSCH

Join us for an inclusive and enriching outdoor experience as we embark on an Accessible Nature Hike at the picturesque Emma Prusch Farm Park Led by experienced Park Rangers, this guided hike is tailored to provide an engaging and accessible exploration of the park's natural wonders During the hike, participants will have the opportunity to connect with nature, observe local wildlife, and learn about the unique ecosystems that thrive within the park Our knowledgeable park rangers will share fascinating insights about the plants, animals, and history of Emma Prusch Farm Park, ensuring an educational and captivating journey for all Program will be taking place AT Emma Prusch Farm Park All participants will meet at Emma Prusch at 12:00 pm. All participants must function with a 1:10 staff ratio, or an attendant must be enrolled if additional support is needed

FALL CLASSES

At Camp San Jose your child will participate in an unforgettable camp experience combining camp traditions with enriching and educational activities The campers will participate in games, sports, create cool arts and crafts projects, and sing funny songs while ensuring CDC safety measures. Price includes a low leader to child ratio of 1:10, skill building, new friendships, learning projects and much more!

This program offers children between the ages of 3 to 5 years old an educational and recreational experience This program supports children's imaginative, physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development The San José Recreation Preschool Program prepares students for kindergarten success in a safe and welcoming environment

KINDERPREP

This class prepares your child for kindergarten with age-appropriate activities, learning concepts, socialization skills, and fun! Your child will gain a basic understanding of shapes, colors, pre-phonics, literacy building (i.e. identifying letter sounds, writing the alphabet, and simple words), number recognition, and counting up to 30. The goal is to have fun, participate, and learn. Children must be able to use the restroom unassisted. All children must have valid immunization records on file before the start of class Requirements for parent participation will vary by center

KINDERPREP

Esta clase prepara a su hijo/a para el kindergarten con actividades apropiadas para su edad, conceptos de aprendizaje, habilidades de socialización y diversión Su hijo/a adquirirá una comprensión básica de las formas, los colores, la pre-fonía, el desarrollo de la alfabetización (es decir, identificar los sonidos de las letras, el abecedario y las palabras simples), el reconocimiento de los números y contar hasta 30. La clase es divertida y apoya el aprendizaje y participación. Antes de comenzar la primera clase, los niños deben de poder usar el baño sin ayuda.
