Young Remrandts Elementary Drawing

Experience the colorful magic of fall in the Young Rembrandts classroom Kick off the season with an interesting Iguana, a video game favorite Pixel Block Character and the geometrical world of architecture as we draw the Notre Dame Cathedral Later, students will immerse themselves in the seasonal spirit as they learn still life technique of pumpkins, draw a detailed Scarecrow, and draw a silly but challenging Patterned Bat

Finally, get ready for winter as we turn out a “sweet” drawing of a gingerbread house (almost good enough to eat!) We’ll draw these (and many more exciting lessons!) while we improve creative and critical thinking skills today’s students need. So what are you waiting for? Sign up now!

Come join the fun! Students will have fun learning Ballet positions, warm-ups, and tap steps Correct technique and terms will be taught Students will learn a dance routine to perform for family and friends Parents are allowed to stay for the first 10 minutes on the first day of class and are encouraged to attend the last class for a presentation This activity will take place in the Dance Studio Room 8

HIP HOP/JAZZ

Learn both Hip-Hop and Jazz dance moves in this high energy class Parents are allowed to stay for the first 10 minutes on the first day of class and are encouraged to attend the last class for a great recital.

The City of San Jose offers activity scholarships for children, seniors, and adults with disabilities who qualify Scholarships will cover 50-75% of the class cost Fill out the scholarship form and bring the necessary documents to any City of San Jose community center

Gym Stars

Be a gymnastic star! Learn cartwheels, handstands, rolls, round offs, and much, much more! Parents are allowed to stay for the first 10 minutes on the first day of class and are encouraged to attend the last class for a great recital Wear a leotard, stretch pants, sweatpants, or shorts Bare feet during class are suggested Children should secure long hair back in a ponytail This activity will take place in the Dance Studio Room 8.

Mini Gym Stars

A great beginner gymnastic class teaching basic gymnastic skills, including movement exploration, balance, and coordination, and at the same time teaching agility and improving motor skills Parents are allowed to stay for the first 10 minutes on the first day of class and are encouraged to attend the last class for a great recital Wear a leotard, stretch pants, sweatpants, or shorts Bare feet during class are suggested. This fun, skill-intensive program is designed for beginning to intermediate players Using our progressive curriculum, we focus on the whole player - teaching sportsmanship and teamwork Boys and girls will learn the fundamentals of passing, shooting, ball handling, rebounding and defense Participants should bring a water bottle and wear appropriate clothing and shoes.

Grab your tennis racket and get ready to play! Come and enjoy different art forms such as coloring, drawing, painting and more! This art class is directed towards teen and young adults with disabilities Each week we will try different art forms. FUN FOR ALL!

This program focuses on fun with music, games, arts and crafts, movement activities, and a field trip. This play program is designed for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders Children should bring a sack lunch to class each week Participants must be able to function in a 1 to 3 staff to participant ratio and independent with personal care needs or provide an attendant for personal care Attendants will be required to pass a City of San Jose background check in programs that serve youth under 18 years of age

Let's play some table tennis, also known as ping pong! How about some basketball, or even some brisk walking as a group?
