This workshop is for teenage girls to have a safe space where they can have positive conversations with other teenage girls. Engaging in topics like how to empower one another, selfimage, celebrating differences, and how to work together. This workshop will encourage each participant to self-reflect, grow, and become a better version of themselves.

This workshop is designed for teenage participants interested in learning about job readiness topics. The workshop will help students understand what a resume and cover letter are, how to create their own resume and cover letter, answer interview questions, and dress for an interview.

REGISTER NOW! At Camp San Jose Jr., your child will participate in an unforgettable summer camp! We combine camp traditions with a wide variety of enrichment and educational activities. Children will have the opportunity to create cool art projects, play games and, sing funny songs while ensuring CDC safety measures. Camp San Jose Jr. includes skill building, making new friendships, and much more! Campers need to bring water, lunch and sunscreen each day. Each Camp San Jose Jr. session runs for one (1) week. Pickle ball is best described as a combination of badminton, ping-pong and tennis. You can play indoors or outdoors on a badminton-sized court with a net similar to a tennis net. Players use a paddle that is reminiscent of ping-pong paddles, but is bigger and usually made of more advanced materials.

HIRLN- PIZZA AND A MOVIE OUTING

HIRLN is the Head Injury Recreation and Leisure Network. We meet once a month for a community based recreation experience. This month we will be meeting at Luigi's pizza in Campbell and then heading to the Cinelux movie theaters for a movie. Participants must be able to participate in a 1 to 8 client to participant ratio and be able to attend to their own personal care needs (toileting and feeding) or have an attendant with them. Attendant will need to register for the program as well or buy their own movie ticket. .

HIRLN- LIVE MUSIC @ POOR HOUSE BISTRO

Head Injury Recreation and Leisure Network is a social club for survivors of head injuries and strokes. Join us at Poor House Bistro for some live music. We will sit out on the patio and enjoy the music with our friends. The registration fee for this event covers part of the staffing cost, food is not included. If you would like to try the New Orleans style food please bring money with you. Most dishes are $10-15 so we suggest bringing at least $20 to cover tax and tip. SAN JOSÉ RECREATION PRESCHOOL DISCOVER

The San José Recreation Preschool program offers children, 3 to 5 year olds, and their families educational and recreational experiences that support their imaginative, physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development. Children prepare for kindergarten success in a safe and welcoming environment. The San Jose Recreation Preschool Program is adhering to all Santa Clara County, Public Health guidelines to ensure the health and well-being of students and staff. KINDERPREP This class prepares your child for kindergarten with age-appropriate activities, learning concepts, socialization skills, and fun. Your child will gain a basic understanding of shapes, colors, pre-phonics, literacy building (i.e. identifying letter sounds, writing the alphabet and simple words), number recognition, and counting up to 30. The goal is to have fun, participate, and learn. Children must be able to use the restroom unassisted. All children must have valid immunization records on file before the start of class. Requirements for parent participation will vary by center. LITTLE LEARNERS Children will be introduced to socialization, positive self-esteem, following directions, and simple learning concepts. Children will work on hand eye coordination and motor skills, while gaining independence through the use of circle time, music, songs, stories, play, arts and crafts. Food will be provided for cooking activities and may be provided for special events. Children must be able to use the restroom unassisted. All children must have valid immunization records on file before the start of class. Requirements for parent participation will vary by center. THE HATCHERY This program is an opportunity to introduce preschoolers to farm life and animals at Emma Prusch Farm Park. Activities will include caring for our farm animals, songs, stories, crafts, garden fun, and games to develop socialization skills, eye-hand coordination, and motor skills. Your child will also learn alphabet sounds, shapes, and colors in a safe and fun farm atmosphere! Children must be able to use the restroom unassisted.
