SUMMER CLASSES DANCE

Come join the fun! Students will have fun learning Ballet positions, warm-ups, and tap steps Correct technique and terms will be taught Students will learn a dance routine to perform for family and friends Parents are allowed to stay the first 10 minutes on the first day of class and are encouraged to attend the last class for a great recital

SUMMER IS HERE!! We have been waiting all year for summer. We have a jam-packed summer of fun drawings for you! We kick it off with something you see in the ocean, a lobster, and to keep the theme going we head to the beach and draw a beach scene Then we get to draw something you need to wear to the beach – a bathing suit The fun doesn’t stop there, we are going medieval and learning to draw a castle and a crown and a shield to protect us from the dragon This summer is going to be HOT and fun, grab your friends and jump right in! If so, your child will LOVE a Young Rembrandts Cartoon class Our students will learn how to personify inanimate objects,draw comic strip as they breathe life into everyday clocks Popular pets will also see the cartoon treatment as they’re transformed into colorful characters Then we will imagine ourselves traveling to far away worlds as we illustrate amazing alien beings We will also demonstrate to our students that drawing toys can be just as much fun as playing with them. Co-ed Chess class is designed for students with no experience and provides for a strong foundation in the rules & strategies needed to play the game of chess. Students of the class can also participate in training games with other participants In addition to learning the fundamentals of chess, this class will promote the growth and development of skills in concentration, logic, decision making, planning, and selfdiscipline

Co-ed Chess class is designed for students who were in a previous Starters class or with some knowledge and teaches important opening concepts, recognition of tactical themes, calculation of material exchanges, and elementary endgame Students of the class can also participate in training games with other participants In addition to learning the fundamentals of chess, this class will promote the growth and development of skills in concentration, logic, decision making, planning, and self-discipline
