Playable on almost any surface, these soccer-themed motor skill classes are very easy for youngsters to get into. This class develops kicking, balance, dribbling, foot-eye coordination and running control by playing fun games. Some small-sided scrimmaging is played. *Age 4 must attend "Pandas" first if available.

Soccertots (Grizzlies) Playable on almost any surface, these soccer-themed motor skill classes are very easy for youngsters to get into. This is the progression class for Bears. More challenging skill development games are played as well as some introduction to soccer and team concepts. Chess Advanced

Co-ed Chess class is designed for students with no experience and provides for a strong foundation in the rules & strategies needed to play the game of chess. Students of the class can also participate in training games with other participants. In addition to learning the fundamentals of chess, this class will promote the growth and development of skills in concentration, logic, decision making, planning, and selfdiscipline.

Co-ed Chess class is designed for students who were in a previous Starters class or with some knowledge and teaches important opening concepts, recognition of tactical themes, calculation of material exchanges, and elementary endgame. EASTSIDE ELITE BASKETBALL LEAGUE WINTER SEASON BEGINS: EACH SATURDAY, JANUARY 20TH TO MARCH 2ND AT ALUM ROCK YOUTH CENTER 137 N WHITE RD, SAN JOSE, CA 95127 8:30 TO 10:30 A.M. Co-Ed Non-Competitive Division is for players who have little or no basketball experience and would benefit from participation in a structured program, with a focus on skills development, basketball fundamentals and structured games time. Practices will be held on Saturdays 30 minutes before their game. The games are two (2) fifteen minutes running halves, with each team member playing 10+ minutes per game.
