It’s been another wild and crazy, super creative, outstanding SIFF season. It is amazing each SIFF to see the incredible talent in our Sims community and most of all, it’s a pleasure to see everyone getting together having fun and supporting each other. I am so lucky to have such an amazing team working with me too. If it were not for them SIFF would never happen. Thank you to all of the SIFF Artistic Directors for their creative input and all of the hours and hours of hard work behind the scenes. This is our first of the new Simatography Magazine format expanding on the usual SIFF programme and introducing many other tidbits to entertain and inspire. Thank you for joining us for another SIFF season, and we hope you will enjoy what our new magazine has to offer.

Jinja, a relative newcomer on the machinima scene, is blowing us away with his talent and potential. Though he has made very few machinima to date, his films demonstrate great skill and creativity. After winning the honour of Best New Film Maker last SIFF we have selected him for Feature this round for this ambitious project that demonstrates fantastic use of voice acting and sound editing.

note to participants SIFF has now been running for three seasons and going strong. The only reason SIFF could ever have been possible is with the creative input of so many amazing machinima makers and other creative contributors. So for this we say a special THANK YOU to each and every one of you who participated in even the smallest way to make SIFF what it is. We hope that you have all had fun, have learned something along the way, and will participate at SIFF in the future. Most of all we want to say that while winning is special, not everyone can fall into first place, but in our eyes, every creative spark deserves to be recognized, and this is what SIFF is meant to be - a celebration and showcase of ALL of the amazing talent in our Simatography community.
SIFF STAFF MACHINIMA The SIFF Artistic Directors look forward to participating in SIFF along with everyone else, but we have decided that we will not be including our films for voting in the challenges as it may seem that we are at unfair advantage at times. We apologize profusely to our guest starlettes at this night’s gala premier screening, seen here hiding behind their co-stars for protection. It seems that some of the fans and paparazzi got out of hand. Even this big scary looking guy from The Sims Weekly World News crew was looking afraid as the paparazzi were everywhere and taking over even the out-of-bounds VIP areas. Where was our security guard Dusty Pipes? Trying to get his 15 minutes of fame, and schmoozing with the stars in the media lounge! Don’t worry, we have taken disciplinary action and are considering hiring William and Bernard from Reflections Of fame. They seem far more trustworthy really. In the meantime, BerryPie isn’t phased at all by this as her attentions are clearly focused on the gorgeous young man at her side this evening.

Minraed hosted an exclusive V.I.P. party with top notch security in place. Even our best paparazzi were not able to get more than this brief glimpse. It is said that this was the place where everyone who is anyone was to be found. The Medieval-themed event was noted as being the premiere gala screening of both Lucinda and Aikin the Tree Boy (Queen Marigold being voiced by Minraed). Rumours say that some of the most elusive and illustrious of The Sims Resource custom creators and set designers were in attendance - invited in thanks for making much of the magic of themed machinima films like these possible.
