Demeter and I are both originally from Greece and we always had a love for music. It was a requirement in our house that we learn at least one instrument when growing up so it always seemed like a fun thing to do for us. I was born and raised in Bridgeport. My love for music mostly came from the celebrities I listened to growing up and loved to sing with them in my room. I had honestly never thought of singing as wanting to do it I had always wanted to model, but I kind of fell in love with it after being with these guys. : I’m from Great Bear and music was only just a past time for me. I grew up on a ranch and so I’d always loved to hum or sing a little something as I was taking care of the horses. I had gone in to studying to be an actress, but when you have these three begging you to be in a singing group with them it’s hard to say no.
Originally we were just going to be called B.A.D because Arianna had convinced us all she couldn’t sing. She blew her lie on that pretty fast. We just used the first letter of each of our first names and then turned it into something quirky.
We were all nervous like hell. We even had little tricks we had thought of to do during the song to keep the audience’s attention. They turned out not to be needed though and we were very well received. The audience was in an uproar. Someone should have told me though before I winked at that teacher.
: There were times we performed different variations of music. But most of the time we stuck to pop and hip-hop.
The only part about it I found hard was learning Korean. Demete r and Astra I swear had it learned not even in two weeks and I was still struggling after week six. *giggle*
We all loved singing and working together, but we all decided as a group to take a break and focus on other things in our life. Initially Astra kind of brought us all back together when she moved to Bridgeport with the rest of us then we figured why not give it another go.
Lots of music videos. Lots and lots of them. Demeter and Astra have every song written, choreographed and directed down to a T. Now it’s just getting them all done. Of course we’ll be taking a short break after SIFF for personal reasons.
We had actually planned on joining last round, but at that time we had our talents stretched in too many places. Arianna was out of country shooting a movie and Bella was modeling around the world so we Decided to push it off. But we haven’t been slacking all that time.
Oh yes most definitely we are. I can’t give too much away, but there is definitely a lot of dancing. And we’re wearing some pretty sexy outfits if I do say so myself.
We’re both still currently in the process of getting it done. We just wrapped up in the recording studio now all we have left is the video which we’re both sure will be a hit and we hope very much everyone will enjoy what we are producing.
