From the Editor We are back on track with Simatography Magazine thanks to the support of many members and staff. We have some great ideas in mind for the coming season including the reinvention of Shutterbugs Simtography Club and the start up of a whole new Machinima School. Both will be coming in November so keep your eyes on Simatography! Simatography Magazine issues will give you tips and tricks for machinima and photo shoots. They will also feature some of the great creative talent from our members. We are always hoping to get Simatographers involved so if you have ideas to share, ads to insert into the magazine or if you are interested in contributing then keep in touch with us on facebook, twitter or at the site. For this issue we are keeping it short and sweet - it is mostly a showcase of our Dark Side Challenge and a way for us to show you that there is life after SIFF, or at least between SIFF cycles.

Special Feature Simatography started as a Sims3 fansite and focuses on Sims3 content, but this does not mean that we do not appreciate and support Sims2 machinima. SIFF is also open to Sims 2 machinima and we hope that over the next few months we will be able to connect with more Sims 2 machinima makers who would like to showcase their machinima with us. In the meantime, please enjoy this special presentation - SIFF staff Titus Linde proves that Sims 2 machinima is still alive by presenting Casper in English for the first time as part of the Dark Side Challenge. We are so excited to be reintroducing both our Machinima School lessons and Shutterbugs Simtography Club. We are going back to our roots. Machinima School with have a whole new format using video tutorials and including lessons that you can complete to get feedback. Our goal is to help you become the best machinima maker you can be and to prepare you for the next SIFF. Shutterbugs Simtography Club will be a take on real life photography clubs, with tips and tricks and photo assignments every week or two that will help you to test your limits and try new things as well as to get feedback on how to improve. Details and start up dates will be presented very soon so keep your eyes on Simatography.
