Sherborne Girls proudly presents SG Enterprises the commercial arm of the School. They are responsible for all non- school activities throughout the year but principally in the school holidays.

Sherborne Girls is a leading girls full-boarding school, situated in a beautiful Dorset market town, complete with honeyed buildings and rambling streets The School has a glorious 40-acre campus, just a short walk from the town centre The main school is a listed Victorian manor bui d ng, with a host of historic features including a arge wood-panelled hall which can accommodate groups from 10 to 350.

Boarding Houses and School facilities are available to hire outside school term time The School provides the perfect locat on to host residential groups, conferences, private hire, concerts, and special occasions. It has excellent transport links and is within walking d stance of Sherborne train station.

Samantha Welch is the Trading Manager for SG Enterprises and is responsible for all commercial activities for Sherborne Girls which include events, residential and nonresidential lets, the School Shop and Queenies the on-campus café. She is the Designated Safeguard Lead for SG Enterprises.

Jennifer Brewer is the Events Officer for SG Events and is your dedicated go to person for all things Events She will take all the initial enquiries and fol ow them through to the end She is the Safeguarding Lead for SG Events.

Jaqui Simpson is the Residential / Lettings Officer who is responsible for your stay at Sherborne Girls. She is on hand throughout the process from start to finish and your ma n point of contact

Our dedicated team of staff are here to help you with hosting, organising your event or your stay with us from start to finish. They have a wealth of knowledge and experience between them, and pride themselves in their customer service and people skills.

The Merritt Centre is a multi-functional building boasting a state - of-the -art music and performance venue, it is the perfect venue for all your musical needs. It boasts 19 teaching rooms, 2 classrooms which are beautifully designed for music lessons and a state of the art recording studio.

The Gransden Hall, the main heart of the building is the concert hall It has a superb acoustic, warm, and sufficiently resonant for both vocal and instrumental music Acoustic banners allow a subtle flexibility of reverberation and the seating offers numerous configurations with which to accommodate varying numbers of performers and audience.

The Mackenzie Foyer has a ovely ambiance with fabulous views over the grounds and is available for private funct ons.

Queenies café can be open for your events, and catering is avai able through our in house caterers.

The Beddington Building is a self-contained block which lends itself perfect y to courses or teaching for lettings such as Language Schools and day courses, where a classroom is required There is a purpose-built lecture theatre and large foyer for breakout sessions.

The Main School boasts many additional rooms which can be used as smaller venues if you have a more ntimate event. There are several beautifully furn shed rooms all with AV, W i-Fi and conference facilities available.

The School Hall is perfect for that traditional feel Its beautiful interior lends itself to a number of different layouts and can hold 400 in conference style seating

All residentials will be provided with bespoke packages. There are B&B, Half or Full board options available.

Various formations of rooms from single to dorms, all with ample washroom facilities. All pillows, duvets, mattress covers, and bed linen is provided. There are single rooms available for staff on each floor and there is a degree of separation for Male and Female with separate floors or areas Unique to Sherborne Girls, each House has its own dining room, drawing room and common room Laundry facilities and security are available on request.

We are able to provide dinning and refreshments for all occasions, from small finger buffets, afternoon teas to fine dining for 200. Or you might wish to have your own bespoke package for your particular event.

All residential lets will have the options of B&B, full and half board and packed lunches can be prov ded on request.

For something a little b t different we have the Horse Box which is available for outside catering.

Special dietary requirements can be catered for.

Sherborne sits in a conservation area and is a beautiful town, boasting 2 Castles, an Abbey and a pretty high street adorned by boutique and unique shops.

45 minutes from Salisbur y by train

There are plenty of historic and places of interest a short drive away and it is only 45 minutes from the coast.

At the School there is ample free parking on site at Oxley Sports Centre and you are within walking distance to the town centre

There are direct routes to London via train an approximate 2-hour journey and easy access to the M5. It also sits close to the A303, the gateway to Devon and Cornwall
