PRESS DAY 16 BE KIND TO YOUR MIND. WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER

PRESS DAY P A SE

BE KIND TO YOUR MIND.

Press Pause day is just that a day for the whole school community to relax, unwind, laugh and reflect together, in the middle of our busiest term.

It is a chance for girls and staff to spend a day doing what they enjoy most, or trying something new: from creative workshops, inspiring talks, reading, yoga and mindfulness to more energetic runs, golf or group walks for those who love the outdoors A huge range of activities are available and we have dozens of contributors coming in to make us laugh (yes there’s a comedian), offer expert advice or lead a workshop There’s even a dog psychology expert and self hypnosis, not to mention every type of dance class you can imagine It could be time to get your ‘Strictly’ shoes on and try some Latin dancing or hip hop if you prefer!

We all need this day. It is thanks to our Head, Dr Ruth Sullivan, that Press Pause is happening Thank you Dr Sullivan, and thank you Mrs Brewer, who has worked so hard to organise all these activities for us. Let’s hope we can ‘Press Pause’ every year
