wo generations of students, among them Poles, Germans, Frenchmen, Britons, Montenegrins, Bosnians, Serbs, Americans, Canadians and representatives of other nationalities have already received their Polish, German and French diplomas. Soon the third and the fourth generation of Europa Master students will surely join the alumni club EMA-DOM, established by those who consider The Europa Master a great experience and an idea worth sharing. the academic year 2017/2018, already for the 5th time, the Institute of Political Science of the University of Opole, together with the Department of Political Science of Johannes-Gutenberg University (Mainz/Germany) and the Faculty for Law and Political Science of the Université de Bourgogne (Dijon/France), offer a trinational MA program in European Studies EUROPA MASTER. The consecutive 4-semester MA program is certified in all three participating countries. he “Europa Master” provides participants with specialised knowledge about European cultures and societies (Opole), European/EU politics (Mainz), and European/EU law (Dijon). Furthermore, students acquire an intensive personal “European” experience by studying and living together in three European countries. The „Europa-Master“ is inter alia sponsored by the Deutsch-Französische Hochschule / Université Franco-Allemande (DFH/UFA), which also offers mobility funds to students and is subsidized by the Embassy of France in Poland. he “Europa-Master” is the only trinational MA in European Studies currently offered in Poland. Participants study the first semester in Opole (Poland), the second semester in Mainz (Germany), and the third semester in Dijon (France). Participants may separate again only for the final semester dedicated to the obligatory internship, the writing of the master’s thesis, and the final exam depending on where they like to do the internship, thesis and exam. Upon the successful completion of the MA program, graduates receive the respective national degrees from all three partner universities. For the graduation ceremony, the alumni meet again in Opole in December.
