OUR COMPOSERS Paulo Bastos was born in Vila Pouca de Aguiar. He started studying music with Hélia Soveral at the Escola de Música do Porto. Later he finished his BA in Composition at the Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espectáculo, where he was awarded the “Prize for the Best Student”. Then he finished his MMus in Theory and Musical Analysis at the University of Aveiro. He worked with several composers and groups as The Strasbourg Percussions, Sharon Kanach, Filipe Pires, Dieter Schnebel, Cândido Lima, Stefano Scodanibbio, Álvaro Salazar, Gerhard Stäbler, Jorge Peixinho, Nicolaus A. In 1931, Cappiello created an astonishingly effective poster for this product but this earlier effort for Bouillon Kub is also most attractive. The chef, sprinkling boxes of the bouillon in our direction, reinforces the message: 'Try the K'
