Meet Me Under the Eiffel Tower Author: Tasha Donahue

Tasha Donahue was running away from home. Tasha wasn’t the first one to do so, but at the age of 63, it was, to say the least, unusual. Life had been difficult. Tasha hadn’t seen a ballet, listened to a concert, danced, or enjoyed a museum in way too long. She

It would be this medium which would lead to some wonderful adventures, embarrassing escapades and truly memorable encounters with the parade of friends she met during her sabbatical from reality. In Meet Me Under The Eiffel Tower, Tasha enchants us with the stories of the men who came in and out of her life. Some of her suitors had but one thing on their mind, but the majority of those she met simply wanted to share an evening with an attractive woman for great conversation and laughter. Only one of those encounters would end up in the bedroom, but the time she shared with many others were in their own way as erotic and memorable.

Some people might choose a weekend away at a spa or mountain retreat, and then back to the realities of life, for Tasha she needed more than that. She was escaping to the beautiful city of Paris, not for a three day weekend, but for six months.

Paris was not a new location for Tasha, she had been there 7 times before and she knew it would be the answer to her problems. Her plan was to focus on a rejuvenation of her senses. Her plan included enjoying concerts, museums, good food and new friends, and if a few new sexy men wandered into her life, who was she to object?

After six months, Tasha returned to the States to resume her “normal” life. Though this wasn’t truly what happened. The time spent in Paris had changed her for the better. As Tasha admits at the end of her story, “Adventure is not going to knock on my door, but I can knock on the door of adventure! I went to Paris for me. I had to leave my reality to find myself. I put everyone else’s problems to the wayside and concentrated unabashedly on moi. Perhaps, you can do that from your back porch, or with a new career, hobby or a get-away weekend. You may find your Paris within (it costs much less, too!)”

Woman

In this truthful and unabashed account Tasha shares the honest experiences that she faced as a woman alone in Paris. Her honesty is refreshing and her experiences keep you turning the pages. This is a book to lay back and savor, since once started it is hard to put down. It touches upon the true fact that age is often not a factor when it comes to living out your dreams and taking the time to put yourself first. Tasha is gracious enough to share her life with us through this amazingly poignant book.
