Why is gentleness so important? It is because gentleness keeps strength under control. If not balanced with gentleness, strength can be used for evil, rather than good. There are few things more effective in bringing about needed change than gentle strengthâ&#x20AC;&#x201D;
If we are looking for a role model for this â&#x20AC;&#x153;true man,â&#x20AC;? we need look no further than the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus was given more responsibility than any other human being who has ever lived. And yet, he willingly took
[OH[ YLZWVUZPIPSP[` HUK M\SĂ&#x201E;SSLK P[ JVTpletely. He is also the strongest man who has ever lived. He was, and is, a man with unlimited powerâ&#x20AC;&#x201D;power tempered with incredible gentleness. He was strong enough to handle the PUJYLKPIS` KPMĂ&#x201E;J\S[ [OPUNZ [OH[ JHTL his way, but gentle enough to respond in love to everyone. In doing so, he changed the world. And if we will follow his example, we may be used to change the world as well.
