EXPLORE YOUR WORLD As much as we truly love KC, we know our students see themselves as global citizens. That’s why we offer experiences like service immersion trips and study abroad opportunities to expand your world-view even further. Our students have studied in close to 30 countries across the globe, and we believe experiencing cultures outside of our own can have major impacts on our world view, understanding of others, leadership ability and more.* *COVID-19 has made us press the pause button on international travel experiences for now, but we fully expect them to be back just as soon as it’s safe to do so.

11

We know you’re ready to make your mark on the world, and we’re ready to help you. At Rockhurst, service and social justice are a core component of our student life. As one of 27 Jesuit schools in the country, we’re committed to being an agent of transformation in our modern world to promote equality, inclusivity and empowerment for all.

CHANGING THE WORLD

FOR OTHERS , WITH OTHERS

We like to say that we’re men and women for others, with others. For us, serving others isn’t about “charity work” – it’s a way to engage with our community, work together with our neighbors, and enable lasting change. As a student at RU, you’ll have the opportunity to make change both here in KC through local projects and throughout the world on international and domestic service immersion trips. These weeklong experiences will enhance your learning through service, cultural immersion, relationship building and more.* We can’t wait to see all the good we’ll do together! * While we had to cancel current plans for service trips this year due to COVID-19, you can bet they’ll be back once it’s safe to do so!
