DAY 1 – Arrival in Dubrovnik

Fly to the spectacular city of Dubrovnik to board your ship, MV Markan and settle in. Later, enjoy a drink in the bar before having dinner in the relaxed, elegant atmosphere of the ship’s restaurant. (D)

DAY 2 – Dubrovnik & Lastovo

We set sail on our Dalmatian adventure but we also stop so you can experience swimming off the ship’s platform as if it were your own private yacht. We cruise towards the remote island of Lastovo, part of an impressive archipelago, with a traditional way of life and agriculture making it largely self-sufficient for food. Indulge in wine tasting at a local winery before returning to the ship to relax over an aperitif before dinner. (B,L,D) + Included Experiences – Swim stop & wine tasting in Lastovo

DAY 3 – Lastovo, Blue Cave & Vis

From our mooring in the quaint harbour, bordered by palms and Venetian-style houses, we head to the iridescent Blue Cave and magical grotto. Later we sail to the mountainous Vis island, only open to foreign visitors since 1989, to wander its latticework of streets and sample local restaurants serving first-class seafood. DAY 4 – Vis & Bol

After an unhurried morning with perhaps sun-lounging or a hot-tub dip, we drop anchor at the legendary Golden Horn Beach on the island of Brač; find out why it’s the most mesmerising beach on the Adriatic! Then we moor up in Bol’s attractive harbour and you can stroll ashore to sample the local cuisine – maybe try pašticada – slow-cooked beef stewed in bacon, prunes and prošek wine sauce. DAY 5 – Bol & Metković

We cruise past the spectacular Pelješac Peninsula, inland along the Neretva River for a different experience, viewing rural farmland surrounded by a stunning mountain backdrop, rare wildlife species and the occasional isolated village. We moor in the bustling town of Metković, and visit the fascinating Narona archaeological museum in Vid. Then savour the superb Captain’s Dinner

DAY 6 – Metković, Mostar & Slano

Join our full-day experience in Mostar, the largest city in Herzegovina, dating back to the 15th century, with fine examples of classic Ottoman design like the Stari Most bridge. We’ll meet the ship in Slano, a little town sheltering amongst olive groves and vineyards in a picturesque bay. Or you can choose to spend the day relaxing on board Enjoy dinner in one of Slano’s restaurants. (B) + Included Experience – Full day excursion to Mostar with guided tour

DAY 7 – Slano & Dubrovnik

Mark our final day at sea with a swim in the idyllic Badija Bay. As we return to Dubrovnik, be on deck to watch the skyline of this beautiful Baroque city appearing. After lunch step ashore for a guided tour of the breathtaking old town, its dazzling marble pavement lined with smart shops and intimate cafés. Wander amongst decorated churches and medieval buildings. Eat dinner ashore before returning to the ship, perhaps to swap memories with newly-made friends over a drink. DAY 8 – Return flight

After breakfast disembark for the airport and your return flight. (B)
