Evangelist Selena Gomez?

For Someone who's just 25, Selena Gomez has quite the resume: She's a platinum-selling pop star, reluctant tabloid fixture (which constantly speculate about her romantic life), mental health advocate and now a speaker at church events.

Recently Gomez as a guest at the Hillsong Conference in LA, where she took the stage and got emotional while reading a letter she'd written to her younger self that documented her life-changing encounter with faith. She told those in attendance that for years, she knew about God, but never actually experienced him firsthand.

"You are already being pursued by God who knit you together and called you His, but you still don't know that this can be more than a nightly prayer." She write, encouraging the audience to seek a deeper relationship with God. "You don't know that this will become the most important relationship, but just wait. Selena, you are enough!

Not because you've tried hard...You are enough because you are a child of god who has been pursued from the very beginning. You are enough because His grace has saved you and covered you."
