FIR Government FIR AGM - Annual General Meeting the FiR - Federation international de Racketlon currently consists of 29 FiR member states on 4 continents. the national representatives of the member states come together at least once every year for the aGm – annual General meeting, which is the highest body of FiR. the voting power (see below) is calculated on the basis of Racketlon players of the respective countries in the FiR World Rankings at the beginning of each year. the FiR aGm 2011 will be held as usual during the World championships in Singles. this year Werner Schlager academy/multiversum in Schwechat will host the aGm, which star ts with a guided tour of tabletennis World champion 2003, Werner Schlager. FIR Auditors two auditors are elected by the General meeting with the task to permanently check and audit the Finances of FiR.

FiR wants to thank the par ting council members michael Dicker t (austria), Raymond Jordan (England), thomas troedsson (Sweden), marc veldkamp (Netherlands) and mar tti vottonen (Finland) for their work in the council from 2009 until 2011. Sportaccord Membership Spor taccord is the successor of GaiFS and groups together international spor ts federations. Spor taccord´s mission is to unite, suppor t and promote its members, international Spor ts Federations for the co-ordination and protection of their common aims and interests, communication and co-operation, while conserving and respecting their autonomy. Spor taccord´s role consists of recognizing, assisting and representing the international Federations in realms of common interest within the olympic and Spor ts movement and governmental and non-governmental bodies. to become Spor taccord member FiR must have 40 member states with legally registered national Racketlon federations, of which the majority must be recognised by the respective NSo – National Spor ts Federation or Noc – National olympic commitee. to sum up Racketlon must be played in 40 countries around the world and FiR must count the same number of legally registered national federations.
