As I sit to write this note on my iPad, I cannot help but to marvel at the momentous and life changing impact Steve Jobs has had on people the world over. Many have said that he is the epitome of a true innovator, and that his ideas are akin to a 21st century Edison. His life, his work, his courage and his innovative ideas are an inspiration to me – a young (and enthusiastic) entrepreneur. Mr. Jobs once said, “Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower.”. One of the goals of this publication is to introduce our readers to innovators, leaders, and entrepreneurs in Louisiana. I have continued to be amazed by the talented people that I have met since the first issue of Quick Wick Magazine was published in March of this year. And this fourth issue is no exception!
