Federico Vianello da più di trent’anni indaga (contaminando e contaminandosi) la linea di confine fra arte, artigianato e design. Una linea certamente esistente, ma per lui sottile e dunque mai frontiera invalicabile. La nuova collezione, fatta interamente a mano nel suo piccolo laboratorio fiorentino è in un qualche modo il punto di arrivo di questa personale ricerca. Lo spirito che accompagna l’artefice (e lo anima) è sempre lo stesso: artigianalità, arte e design devono saper coesistere o perlomeno colloquiare, sia nella creazione di pezzi unici più marcatamente artistici che nella creazione di questa o altre collezioni. Colors and Words by MICROFFICINA Federico Vianello has been investigated for more than thirty years (contaminating and contaminating himself) the line between art, craft and design. A line certainly exists, but for him thin and therefore never impassable frontier. The new collection, made entirely by hand in his small workshop in Florence is in some ways the culmination of this personal research.
