INTRODUCTION This year, we organize Graphic Biennial for the third time. Sublimation of the experiences has resulted in the expansion of the concept of the whole project, which now consists of, not only exhibiting feature but lectures, presentations, promotions, and workshops. We are inspired by the need of the contemporary graphics scene that has become a field of integrated artistic quest and research and the place of perpetual transformation of the understanding of the graphic media.. A great technological evolution of the graphics industry has opened great possibilities for contemporary graphic expression. Program Council has decided to enable a wider choice of activities for the audience and vocational community for this year’s edition of the Biennial. This year we are witnessing that experiments in the domain of matrix and two-dimensional graphics creation have given way to unorthodox practices of creating prints as a result of research in new fields and media created by modern technologies. Artists introduce new categories which are important elements of their graphic creations and often include several media or balance between them – graphics and design, graphics and painting or graphics and new digital media. As a response to these needs and in accord with current tendencies in graphic praxis, Manifestation takes effect in the field of modern graphics and its phenomena. The affiliation has a narrow, professional character and it deals strictly with the art of printing. Through various kinds of promotion, the Platform is trying to popularize Graphic Art and bring it closer to the wide audience.
