Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival

Explore a 40-acre sea of color wandering fields of daffodils and tulips where cut flower displays, hanging baskets and bright fuchsias herald spring. The festival features food and craft vendors amidst the gorgeous, photoworthy backdrop. Get inspired by the demonstration beds to pick out your favorite tulip varieties to grow at home. Bring money to buy bulbs, cut flowers and lunch. Mobility Rating: This trip is accessible to mobility devices. Continuous standing and walking. Fields can be muddy, and there are walkways made of crushed hazelnut shell.

Alpacas at Marquam Hill Ranch

Visit the beautiful 18+ acre Marquam Hill alpaca farm in Molalla and meet the family that started it all. We'll take an indepth private tour of the farm with handson opportunities to learn about these amazing animals. This is the time of year we can anticipate seeing baby alpacas. After our tour, there's time to check out the farm shop, which features yarns, rugs and handknit items made from the fiber of the very alpacas you've met. Bring money for purchases and lunch. Carson Hot Springs and Big River Grill

Enjoy a relaxing, rejuvenating experience in the original 1930s bathhouse complete with individual antique claw foot tubs with an attendant to guide you through the process. The world-renowned mineral water is pumped in directly from the riverbed of the Wind River and fluctuates in temperature. After soaking for 25 minutes, have a swaddling wrap cocoon you in warmth to purify and energize your cells while giving you a meditative rest. When the wrap is complete, take a moment in the dry sauna to round out the spa experience. Fee includes spa treatment. Bring money for lunch in Stevenson. Gorge Artists Open Studios

In the midst of prime cherry blossom season in the Hood River Valley, Gorge Artists host an annual Open Studios weekend. We will visit the studios of illustrators, painters, textile artists and ceramicists, as well as a sampling of other mediums. This is a special opportunity to connect directly with artists and enjoy the beauty of this region. We will be on and off the bus many times throughout the day and we'll take a break for a mid-day lunch at a deli. Bring money for lunch and any purchases. Sake and Wine Tour, Willamette Valley

The Willamette Valley was chosen as an ideal location for a sake brewery thanks to our abundant rain and our geology. Learn about the process of milling and fermenting rice into Oregon's very own rice wine. Sample from over 30 craft and imported sake. We will make a stop at 1–2 wineries in the area for more tastings. Bring $10–15 per wine flight tasting (usually shareable with a friend). Explore collections of the imaginative millionaire who brought European royalty and wild peacocks to the Columbia River Gorge! We will make an afternoon stop at the winery. Fee includes admissions.
