JAIX Mario Oleari is from Modena in Italy and has a passion for his smart four legged friend JAIX. He has created a pop icon out of him, by using the trend of street art. His obsession has created the icon which multiplied and enlarged becomes a monument of urban art! My name is Mario Oleari and since 2002 I carry on my project "pop" and street art of my dog Jaix. Jaix is my dog that I adopted at the shelter, and since then it has become my muse. My icon! The metaphor of the dog-artist that comes out of the cage-house could be made telling how Jaix moves into the city (and the city) in the form of wall, sticker, stencil, and how Jaix also landed on the canvas creating even more "pop ".
