GLOVES AND HEADWEAR
When you’re out on the water in cold conditions, it’s your hands and head that become exposed to major heat loss and require particular insulation and protection. When developing our gloves and headwear we turn our attention to little things that make all the difference. Subtle yet thoughtful touches, such as the pre-bent fingers or easy on cuffs with one handed pull tabs and tightening systems will make your paddling experience much more rewarding and extend your season far beyond the summer time.

XP 2.5-layer fabric
ThermoFibre neoprene
A highpile fleece lining is bonded to the inside of the neoprene in order to capture warm air and thereby increase a garment’s thermal properties while keeping thickness and weight of the fabric to a low level.
Titanium neoprene
A very thin and flexible titanium weave added to the Neoprene reflects heat back toward the wearer and thereby increases the thermal properties of the whole garment.
PADDLE MITTS
Versatile 2.5-layer fabric combining lightweight, waterproofness, breathability and suppleness. XP 2.5-layer fabrics feature DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treated Nylon 6 as face fabric, a microporous hydrophobic coating as waterproof barrier and a Drytouch Diamond matrix print on the inside. Our Core 4 garments are made of midweight 310g/m2 polyester fleece with bi-directional stretch that hugs your body while supporting freedom of movement. The fabric offers great insulation, is highly breathable, comfortable to wear and dries quickly.
AmorTex / Kelvar® reinforcement
In order to increase the durability of neoprene, high strength aramid fibres are woven to its outer surface for outstanding puncture and abrasion resistance while still maintaining great amounts of stretch.

This microfibre synthetic leather has a soft feel while being extremely tough and durable. The suede-like Amara fabric is therefore used as reinforcement and for added protection in our heavy duty work gloves.
For the construction, neoprene is glued together along an edge and then stitched without piercing the inside layer of the fabric, making the join water tight. Glued and blindstiched seams are used for colder water/winter wetsuits and neoprene products where water seeping through needs to be minimised.
