ALL-IN-ONE MINI MART

Dhruvik Patel and his team opened All-in-One Mini Mart on West 41st Avenue two months ago. The neighbourhood’s new convenience shop sells both day-to-day groceries and everyday products from around the world.

Dhruvik moved to Canada from his home in Vadodara, India, five years ago. His passion for business began at an early age.

He explains, “Growing up in a business family, I've always felt that entrepreneurship is in my blood. I started selling kids' toys and assorted items at the age of 8, and those early experiences taught me valuable lessons that I still remember today. While I had practical knowledge of business operations, I recognized the importance of theoretical education in achieving professional growth. That's why I pursued a bachelor’s degree in business, which provided me with a solid foundation of knowledge and skills to complement my hands-on experience.”

"I believe God guides us to where we are meant to be. My story began when I first arrived in Vancouver. I took an Uber to my rented home from the airport, but on the second day, I got lost and ended up in Kerrisdale. Here, I opened a bank account, and that's when my visits to Kerrisdale began. Initially, it was just for my banking needs, but I soon became enamoured with the area's historic architecture, tree-lined streets, and green spaces. This inspired me to do something in Kerrisdale."

Realizing that many people in the community are from different parts of the world and miss food and products from their home countries, Dhruvik saw an opportunity to provide a unique shopping experience by offering international and local products. He feels this sets All-in-One Mini Mart apart from traditional corner stores.

All-in-One Mini Mart is a fusion of a convenience and specialty store.

The store carries snacks and drinks, household items and personal care products from Australia, Canada, China, India, Iran, Japan, Korea, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

“We take pride in offering unique products not easily found in Greater Vancouver. For example, we offer a wide range of Turkish products and exotic drinks not commonly available elsewhere.” In addition, the store provides services such as U-Haul rentals and money transfers.

Dhruvik strives to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere where customers feel at home and can find everything they need in one place. He and his staff take pride in offering quality products and friendly customer service.
