Why rummage?

Introducing RUMMAGE, a local thrift store whose core belief is keeping landfills empty, offering affordable goods and providing a welcome space that fosters creativity.

RUMMAGE was inspired by Angela (Hook) Bailey who first crafted a board game of the same name based on her love of garage sales. After losing her battle with cancer in 2020, the brand was left to her daughter Kyra, a long-time friend of Rummage owner, Zoe Pearce. In true community spirit, Kyra shared the name with Zoe to carry on Angie’s legacy of creating inclusive spaces.

To honour that legacy, Rummage hosts community events from clothing swaps to button making. Do you have an idea to get creative in the store? Talk to one of our dedicated and creative team members- Anita, Cherise, Adrian, Cass, Josh, or Kyra. They’d love to talk to you!

For more information, check out their website, send an email or best of all, come in and say hi!
