The couple met through Scouts. Bridget and Kate tied the knot at Mt Coot-tha in Brisbane before celebrating with 67 guests at their reception at the Summit Restaurant. THE PROPOSAL “We were on a holiday in Melbourne and Kate proposed to me down by the Yarra River after a lovely dinner. She asked me if I would like to be together forever and I said ‘yes’!” WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THE SUMMIT FOR YOUR WEDDING VENUE? “We had our first date up at the café on Mt Coot-tha and it is our ‘go-to place’ when we just want to step away from it all. So the venue location really meant something to us. It was like we were reliving our first date again but it was our wedding! Kelly and her team could not have run a more perfect day for us. They helped us fine tune ever ything and let us put our own little spin on things.”
