Celebrating my wedding with Leonie was really what first sparked the idea for me to become a Marriage Celebrant. Having been a professional musician for 15 years and witnessing a lot of weddings, I had an idea of what I did and didn’t like in ceremonies. I loved ever y aspect of planning our wedding, and afterwards I just wanted to be at weddings all the time. It took another five years for me to obtain my qualifications and register to become a Celebrant, but I would like to say the idea definitely came to me after our day. I love all weddings, but I definitely hold a special place in my hear t for same-sex couples.
