Training Topics Why Attend Mental Health Training? We all have mental health, some days it can be the most joyful of friends and other days it can make the simplest of tasks seem impossible. The last 12 months has forced us to live and work differently, and everyone’s mental health journey will be different and unique to them. The Centre for Mental Health has released research saying 10 million people will be seeking support of mental health as a direct result of Covid. What is mental health? To put is simply, there is no health without mental health. The problem is we don’t know enough about it to begin to understand it. It’s surrounded by stigma and quite simply it’s easier to ignore than it is to learn and talk about it. But we must talk about mental health, so that we can knock the stigma down and offer the support that’s needed. The key to recovery is talking, listening and being non-judgemental. If we can get this right, we’ll all help each other. So, in these uncertain times, what can you do to look after your mental health and those around you? I’m delivering both a Mental health Awareness course and Mental Health First Aid in the workplace. Both are brilliant courses, creating a safe place to learn and create a culture within your workplace where people feel safe and supported to talk about their mental health. One Nucleus Member Discounts Mental Health Awareness Gold member: £94.50 Silver member: £114.75 Non-member: £135
