QATAR PHILHARMONIC CONCERTS June 1, 20, 23, 27, 30 WHY GO? Let your troubles melt away this June with classical music performed by the multi-talented Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra. June’s schedule kicks off with ‘Shostakovich’s Tenth Symphony’ then on June 20 Syrian violinist MAias Alyamani showcases his unique brand of contemporary Arabic music with his aptly named program ‘Nostalgia’. On June 23 conductor Han-Na Chang will lead ‘Tchaikovsky’s Pathétique Symphony’ and on June 27 celebrate the music of Vivaldi and Tchaikovsky with ‘Tchaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings’.
