Understanding the Common Core Learning Standards: Focus on Problem Solving with Tape Diagrams 3-5 Description: Problem solving remains a critical part of the mathematics curriculum. The Common Core Learning Standards addresses problem solving "situations" at every grade level. This workshop allows teachers to examine the various types of word problems, as defined in the CCLS and analyze strategies to help their students.
