FTER nearly twenty five years of planning and eight years of construction, Allied Joint Force Command (JFC) Naples officially opened its base in Lago Patria during a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday afternoon. The new base features a consolidated headquarters complex that allows all of the various divisions of JFC to operate under the same roof. The €200 million project was built using state-ofthe art construction techniques designed to save energy, resist earthquakes and reduce maintenance costs. JFC’s transfer from its longtime base in Naples’ Bagnoli district to Lago Patria had been in the works since 1988, when NATO officials first

A

decided to build a new headquarters facility. Construction began in Lago Patria in 2004. Unlike JFC’s former facilities in Bagnoli, the new headquarters complex in Lago Patria consists of three-interconnected wings, rather than a series of separate buildings “Everything is in the main complex,” said Diana Sodano, community relations advisor with the JFC Naples public affairs office. “All of the divisions are here.” The idea behind the design is to increase communication between units and help JFC operate more efficiently, said engineer Giuseppe Anzaldi, deputy of JFC Naples’ project management office. “All of the offices are close together, so the commander has the ability to get everyone together in a short period of time,” Anzaldi said.

The headquarters is built using a combination of aluminum, recyclable materials and concrete, Anzaldi said, making the building environmentally friendly as well as easier to maintain. “From an architectural standpoint, it is very innovative,” Anzaldi said. “You don’t have to repaint the building every five years.” Additionally, a separate building called the Community Center is designed to bring together the services and amenities that employees and family members use in their off-duty time. The Community Center is where visitors will find three post offices, a mess hall, ration-card offices, banking services, a barber shop, a beauty center, and the SAVE Center, as well as other shops.

human resources manager for Navy Exchange Europe and a volunteer with the USO. “If an artist did want to sell their work, this provided an opportunity for them to show it. This event also helps artists’ network with one

another.” Spencer also said he was pleased with the amount of participation in the show. “The turnout has been very good,” said Spencer. “We were wondering how many artists

were going to come and we ended up with more than we expected. We were very happy to find this many artists who were interested in showing their work.” see MOSAIC Page 12

Captain’s Corner

As we close in on Christmas, I’m reminded that this special time of year brings out the best in our military community. Today, a few of our personnel are dressing up as Santa Claus to hand out gifts to young patients in the Santobono Children’s Hospital in Naples. These sailors, who’ve all volunteered, will later pay a visit to students at a Gricignano elementary school. We’ll welcome some very special visitors to the Teen Center at Support Site on Sunday. Kids from two Italian orphanages will be hosted for a Christmas dinner event that will include caroling, gift exchanges and a visit from Santa. To those serving dinner and/or sponsoring a child for the gift presentation, thank you. These events and others are what this season is all about. They’re great experiences for all involved and demonstrate the strong relationships that we have with our host communities. I also want to express my gratitude to all who make these outreach opportunities possible. Playing an active role in the surrounding communities is more than about generating goodwill – it’s the right thing to do. I hope everyone is psyched for this weekend! The Morale, Welfare, and Recreation team has organized a Christmas market for the community on Saturday in Village Forum Square. The Campania String Quartet will perform, local artists will display their works and various venders will sell holiday items. The USO is scheduled to transform the Naples High School cafeteria into a Christmas Wonderland the following day. Families can expect a photo opportunity with Santa, craft stations, a bouncy castle, face painting, food…. Need I say more? There’s something for everyone this weekend, so come out and enjoy. Please exercise due diligence this year in your holiday shopping and home decorating. Remember, decorations and Christmas trees can represent a hazard, so be careful. Do not overload electrical sockets, and keep lights or decorations away from flammable material (especially those that generate heat). Also, be smart while shopping. Don’t lock gifts in your car, go back for more and expect them to be there when you return. Keep all your doors and windows locked – we don’t want the Grinch spoiling your Christmas cheer. Please be safe if you’re going on a road trip. The Italians will be out in force during the holidays as well so expect heavy traffic. Stay alert, plan ahead, and have appropriate snow gear in your car. The snow last week on Mt. Vesuvius heralds the beginning of ski season, especially as you go north. You can be fined if you are in an area that requires snow tires and/or chains and you do not have them. Also, please don’t drive if you drink. Your life and the lives of others around you depend on it. I want to see everyone safe and sound in the New Year. Have a fun weekend everyone and best of luck on the lastminute shopping!

Master Chief Electronics Technician (SW) Raymond “Chip” Galito (right) and his wife read aloud a certificate of appreciation presented to his daughter by Cmdr. Joseph Saegert Norfolk Ship Support Activity Detachment Naples officer in charge and guest speaker, during his retirement ceremony Nov. 29 at Naval Support Activity Naples’ Support Site Chapel. Galito has been one of seven chief petty officers in his family and received his retirement certificate after 30 years of enlisted service.

Anchored in Heritage — 3rd-Generation Navy Chief Story and photo by MC3 Brian T. Glunt, Navy Public Affairs Support Element-East Detachment Europe

AYMOND “Chip” Galito, a self-proclaimed beach bum, was only wearing a pair of board shorts and Vans as he rode his skateboard down the sidewalk to Florida’s Jax Beach in 1982. Instead of making it to the beach, he found himself in a Navy recruiting office. Thirty years later, Galito received his certificate of retirement on Nov. 29 at Naval Support Activity Naples’ Support Site chapel, as the seventh member of his family to serve as a chief in the U.S. Navy. Chip’s 30-year journey from being a self-proclaimed beach bum in Florida to a U.S. Navy master chief petty officer did more than just keep him out of jail. He enlisted to be a servant to his country and through that he also contributed to a strong family heritage. “I always had a sense of heritage with those who have gone before me,” he said. “I often tell people that the anchor you put on represents a lot of people who have gone before you. That’s the same anchor my grandfather wore. That’s the same anchor that my father, my uncle, my stepfather, my brother and my brother-in-law wore. It’s been an honor to be an active duty Sailor and I’ve loved it a lot.” The 20-year-old never felt pressured by his family to join the Navy, but wanted to change his life for fear of eventually going to jail. Back in 1982, Chip didn’t tell the recruiter what he already knew about Navy life, nor did he tell him that his stepfather, a senior chief petty officer, was sitting in the waiting area only yards away. At least not until Chip felt he was getting a raw deal. His stepfather gave him advice on what rate he may want to choose, saying that electronic technicians are always clean, work in air-conditioned spaces and are the first to get off the ship for liberty. For Chip, that seemed like the job for him. “I actually joined on Valentine’s Day,” said Chip Galito. “I always tell people I joined on Valentine’s Day because I love the Navy.” The Galito family’s naval history could be described as a long, rich heritage. Chip’s grandfather was pinned as a chief petty officer in 1943 and became the first chief quartermaster aboard USS Wisconsin (BB 64) during WWII. His father served as a chief aboard USS Enterprise (CVN 65) during the Cuban Missile Crisis, and his stepfather had been a senior chief hospital corpsman. “There wasn’t pressure to become a chief.” Chip said. “It wasn’t my day-to-day goal to be advanced. It was my day-to-day goal to be the best Sailor I could be.” This motto helped Chip earn his anchors after 9 years of being a junior enlisted sailor. “The anchors that were pinned on me were the ones pinned on my grandfather in 1943,” he said. “My grandmother was a big influence on my life. She used to show me those anchors and say, ‘when you join the Navy and make chief, I’ll pin these on you.’” Chip received the news that he had been selected to

R

become a chief petty officer on a Friday in September of 1992 and called his grandmother to tell her the good news the very next day. “She was so excited. She said she would bring the anchors and that she and my grandfather would be there. That next Monday my ship got underway and we were gone for eight weeks, but while I was gone she passed away,” he said. “We were off the coast of Columbia and I had to fly back. I missed the funeral, but three weeks later my grandfather still showed up and pinned those anchors on me.” Wearing his newly assigned khakis, the uniform designated for chief petty officers, chief warrant officers and commissioned officers, Chip never wanted to forget how it felt to be a junior enlisted Sailor. He wanted to remember what it was like to be in a working party, to stand watches, and sleep in a coffin rack so he could understand what his junior Sailors were experiencing and how to lead them to success. “As enlisted leaders, the most important thing we do is give Sailors the opportunity to succeed,” said Chip. “The single most memorable event to me is to see a Sailor succeed, be the best they can be and then get recognized for it.” Five years after Chip inherited his grandfather’s anchors, his brother, a missile technician, joined him as the Galito family’s newest chief. “My brother always talked about joining the Navy, even when we were little kids,” said Chip. “He used to say, ‘when I get old enough, I’m going to join the Navy. I’m going to stay in for 30 years, and I’m going to be a master chief.’” Chip and his brother, their father and stepfather, and their grandfather are still not the end of the chief heritage in the family. Chip’s uncle and his brotherin-law also earned the rank of chief petty officer. “Just because there are seven of us who have been chief petty officers, we have not been the only ones in my family who have served, and it’s not just in the Navy,” said Chip. “We have a significant amount of Army, Marine Corps and Air Force service in our family as well.” After 26 years of marriage and three children, Chip’s only son, without pressure from his parents, chose to begin his Navy career by way of the officer route and is currently in the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps program. Chip often jokes around to people saying that his son was destined to be an officer. “He’s always had someone to pick up after him and he’s had a chief telling him what to do for his entire life,” said Chip. The naval tradition consisted of the master chief being piped aboard by sideboys standing on both sides of a red carpet interlaced with bullets. The colors were paraded as the brass quintet of Navy musicians played the national anthems from the balcony. “No one can wear the uniform forever,” said Chip. “My hope is that I will transition well and I’ll just be a good American. With as much commitment as I have put into being the best Sailor I can be, I now want to be the best citizen I can be.”

AILORS stationed at Naval Support Activity (NSA) Naples gathered at the Capodichino Reel Time Theater Friday morning to take part in a Pearl Harbor remembrance ceremony Dec. 7. The yearly remembrance ceremony is held to honor the service members who were present at the attack on Pearl Harbor Dec. 7, 1941. “Seventy-one years ago, the United States Navy suffered this devastating surprise attack by a massive expeditionary element bent on destroying our fighting force and demoralizing our nation,” said Capt. Scott Gray, commanding officer of NSA Naples. “Through the trials and tribulations of a hard won war and a harder won peace, we have forged the enduring bonds of friendship with our allies.” The ceremony takes place every year at various naval bases and ships around the world. “Ceremonies like this help us to never forget neither the terrible events of a given day, per-

S

petrated by those who seek America’s demise or the extraordinary heroism that such events often give rise to from among the ranks of our military comrades,” said Cmdr. Philip Pelikan, NSA Naples chaplain. The ceremony was attended by the NSA Naples military and civilian community and included ceremonial guardsman parading the U.S., Italian and Navy flags while two Sailors stood guard over a wreath meant to honor service members who were at Pearl Harbor. “Wreaths have been used since the time of ancient Greece to represent the victory of the eternal spirit over death,” said Pelikan. “We lay the same wreaths today to remember the fallen at Pearl Harbor, so they are never forgotten.” The U.S. Naval Forces Europe Band was also in attendance, playing the American and Italian national anthems, ‘America the Beautiful’ and the Navy Hymn. The Community Center also contains a gym with weight-lifting and cardio equipment, racquetball courts, an outdoor swimming pool, and two outdoor tennis courts. While JFC’s operational offices have already transferred over to the Lago Patria base, some of the stores from the base in Bagnoli won’t be making the move until later this month, Sodano said. The shops should be in place at the Community Center by mid-January, she said. With the new base in Lago Patria, JFC is trying to offer all the same amenities that existed at the former JFC headquarters, Anzaldi said. “The basic point was not to lose any quality of life we had in Bagnoli,” Anzaldi said. Safety was also a priority in the new headquarters. Construction was delayed for a year-and-half at one point to make sure the facility complied with stringent new Italian laws regarding earthquake retrofitting, Anzaldi said. The finished headquarters is built on top of seismic insulators, which act as shock absorbers. “This is an earthquake proof building,” Anzaldi said. “In the event that there is an earthquake, the seismic energy is absorbed by these devices.”

Energy Conservation LED Holiday Lights From the NSA Naples Energy Management Team Light Emitting Diode (LEDs) consume far less electricity than incandescent bulbs, and decorative LED light strings such as Christmas tree lights are no different. Not only do LED holiday lights consume less electricity, they also have the following advantages: • Safer: LEDs are much cooler than incandescent lights, reducing the risk of combustion or burnt fingers. • Sturdier: LEDs are made with epoxy lenses, not glass, and are much more resistant to breakage. • Longer lasting: The same LED string could still be

in use 40 holiday seasons from now. • Easier to install: Up to 25 strings of LEDs can be connected end-to-end without overloading a wall socket. Save money during the holiday season. A household could save $23 per Christmas and save 70kg of Co2 when estimating the cost of electricity to light a six-foot tree for 12 hours a day for 40 days in Italy. Incandescent C-9 lights have an estimated price of $20.08, while LED C-9 lights run $2.87. Incandescent mini-lights have an estimated price of $6.88, while LED mini-lights run $0.92. *Assumes 25 C-9 bulbs and 200 mini-lights per tree with electricity at $0.239 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) (Italian 2012 Residential Rate).

Basketball: Wildcats Fight Off Falcons in Rome Story and photo by James Stockman

HE Naples Wildcats boys’ varsity and junior varsity basketball teams opened up their 2012-2013 season this past weekend in Rome, Italy, facing the American Overseas School of Rome Falcons. The 2012 Division II European Champions proved this year they will not relinquish their title without a fight. Friday night’s game was a start- to-finish victory for the Wildcats, ending with a score of 57-34. Junior guard D’Ondre “DJ” Stockman led the Wildcats’ well-balanced attack, shooting 50 percent from three-point range and attacking the basket aggressively. Stockman finished with 30 points, 4 steals, 4 assists, and 4 rebounds. Junior forward Isaiah Wesby contributed his normal doubledouble with 10 points and 10 rebounds, and also added 3 steals, 2 assists, and 1 block. Also filling up the stat sheet was senior guard Aaron Smith, who racked up 9 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals, and 1 block. Junior Howard Pulley added 4 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 steals, and Joseph Pitts and Chris Mack added 2 points each. Pitts and Mack, along with Kyle Schweitzer, provided tenacious hustle on both ends of the floor. Saturday’s game was a much different matchup. The Wildcats came out sluggish and the Falcons led for the majority of

T

the game, keeping the Wildcat boys in foul trouble with their aggressive play. The Wildcat boys trailed 32–20 at the half. At the start of the third quarter, the Wildcats pressed full court and clawed their way back into the game. Aaron Smith hit back-toback buckets late in the third quarter to put the Wildcats close. Chris Mack then hit a 3point shot with 1:17 left in the third quarter, which brought the Wildcats within two points at 40–38. Kyle Schweitzer’s critical layup with 54 seconds left tied the game at 40. Smith hit a baseline jumper with 7:35 left in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 42. The Wildcats eventually took the lead on a Joseph Pitts free throw and never looked back in route to their 59-49 victory, giving them a 2-0 record for the season. Leading the Wildcats in scoring on Saturday was junior forward Isaiah Wesby. Wesby’s stat sheet at the end of the game read 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 steals. Aaron Smith added 13 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, and 4 steals. Joseph Pitts had 11 points, 2 rebounds and 4 steals. DJ Stockman chipped in 10 points, 6 rebounds, 6 steals and 6 assists. Chris Mack added 5 points, and Howard Pulley added 2. In the junior varsity games, the Wildcat boys split their contests with the Falcons. In game 1, the Wildcat boys led from start to finish and won 50-21. Freshman

Wildcat player Isaiah Wesby (#21) jumps for the ball while DJ Stockman (#25) and Howard Pulley (#24) get ready to attack during a game last weekend against American Overseas School of Rome. The Wildcats won both weekend matchups, allowing them to start the season with a 2-0 record.

point guard Justin Durgadin, playing in his first DODDS game, ran the offense and kept the ball moving with his precision passing. Durgadin hit a clutch 3-pointer to close out the first half. In Saturday’s game, the Wildcat boys lost a nail- biter 30-28. The Wildcat boys were leading for most of the game, but the win slipped away in the closing minutes. Freshmen Joshua Keith, Khalin Murphy, and Dylan Kessler were dominant on the boards all weekend long and gave the Wildcats plenty of shot opportunities with their hard work and effort. The

smooth shooting of Chris Mack, Kyle Schweitzer, Jonathan Wheeler, and Jonny Bray, plus the never-give-up hustle of Anthony Martinez, also made the Wildcats formidable opponents. Durgadin finished the weekend with 19 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal. Bray with his sweet shooting tallied 8 points and 2 rebounds. Mack ended up with 9 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist and 1 steal. Schweitzer had 9 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 assist. Wheeler had a run where he hit consecutive 3-pointers and ended up with 9 points, 4 steals

and 1 rebound. Kessler put up monster numbers for the weekend and ended up with 10 points, 20 rebounds, 1 block, and 1 steal. Joshua Keith chipped in 4 points, 6 rebounds, 1 block and 1 steal. Khalin Murphy had 10 points, 5 rebounds and 1 steal. The Wildcats’ next game will be at home tonight and tomorrow against Florence. Also, the boys will be holding a bagging fundraiser at the Navy Exchange Dec. 16, Dec. 28 and Dec. 29. Please come out and support your Wildcats as they continue their quest for another championship.

ARRANT Officer Patrick Thomas of the French Navy was named Allied Maritime Command Naples’ NonCommissioned Officer of the Second Semester 2012. In an award ceremony held in front of headquarters staff, Thomas received the commendation from Deputy Commander Vice Admiral Andreas Krause. Master Chief Petty Officer Mario Matacena, senior enlisted advisor for Maritime Command Naples, said Thomas was voted into the position by a group of peers from a highly competitive group of contenders. Thomas’ nomination cited a series of significant accomplishments and outstanding performance of duties. It also concentrated on his contribution to Maritime Command Naples’ headquarters as a whole and highlighted the qualities that made him stand out as an NCO as well as establish him as a role model for his contemporaries. Thomas is the eighth NCO to receive this award since the program was established in January 2009.

W Coaches, Mentors and Wildcats—Oh My! Story and photo by Elena Skelton

A

legend in teaching circles throughout Department of Defense Dependents Schools Europe, Bob Patulak is a name you’re likely to hear. He is best known for inspiring young adults in the classroom and challenging them to complete a solid education. Outside of the classroom, coach Patulak, as he is affectionately known, is a wizard on the tennis court. But wait, there is so much more. In addition to coach Patulak’s on-court strategies, there are two other power house assistant coaches and mentors that helped propel the Wildcat tennis team to earn gold

this year at the European Championships. This is somewhere Naples High School has never, in its history, been before. “Coach Raymond Fernandez and conditioning coach David Paul have given nearly every waking moment of their time to these young adults,” said Bill Yancy, long-time supporter of Wildcat tennis. “Frankly, I see a bit of magic in each of these players that carries right back into the classroom.” To those who know these three on-court mentors, they are more than just phenomenal coaches. “They are generous mentors and caring friends,” said Yancy. “They have impacted so many lives through their coaching,

their sense of humor and their generosity.” Yancy went on to say that there are not enough good words in the English language to say about these three leaders. “To simply say that coach Patulak has had a huge impact on everyone doesn’t come close to describing the lasting truth to the statement,” said Yancy. “He is the biggest advocate I know for trusting our young people.” One player said that coaches Patulak, Fernandez and Paul have the commitment of Olympic trainers. “Every day, these coaches give one hundred percent of what they’re asking of our tennis players,” said Conor Skelton, a senior and captain of the tennis team. "No athlete would ever think of going to the next level without having coaches like these. “They are, in a word, extraordinary,” said Skelton.

Holiday Season Family Tips By Dr. Krystal White, Landstuhl Regional Medical Center

ROM mid-November to Jan. 3rd, the holidays are the most stressful time of the year! The season disrupts the normal routine. More activity equals more stimulation while less rest equals more tantrums. Parents assume that because it is fun, kids will have better behavior, but the truth is every one is more cranky, argumentative, tired and depressed during this season than all other months of the year. Dr. White says, “change your expectations.” Expect to feel sad. Expect more tantrums and fights. Instead of focusing on the negative, choose to let things go. To increase the peace: • Count to three before deciding to argue with your child. Most times, ignoring bad behavior is best. • Give kids three warnings before you respond, then say “it looks like we need a break.” • Only arrange for three events per week. More than that and you will likely feel tired, overwhelmed, and have more tantrums. • Events and outings should be three hours or less. Anything more and you’re inviting trouble. • Have three fun toys, not videos, that are kept in the car to distract kids during shopping or downtime.

F

Children can only pay attention to three objects at a time, at most. To help them notice their gifts and appreciate them more, keep them busy and happy all day,” said White. Follow these guidelines: • Limit gifts to 12 per child at most and break gift openings to three separate times: one on Christmas morning, after lunch and after dinner. • Have at least three hours between gifts. Kids need time to play with each toy and have a break. Having three-hour breaks decreases the chance they will become over stimulated and gives you a chance to rest. • During the holiday season, schedule at least three hours of rest time in your house on weekends. Too many activities weaken the immune system, increases conflicts in marriages and makes kids exhausted and cranky. • Choose three holiday rituals or experiences to start. Families value experiences more than gifts and they remember them more as they grow. Dr. White serves as a pediatric psychologist at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center and specializes in developmental disorders and working with families.

Among the 16 artists who participated in the show was a 10-year-old boy with a talent for sketching. “I wanted to participate because I wanted to show people my art and what I do,” said Ben Leese, a local artist who has been sketching since he could hold a pencil or crayon in his hand. “Art is who I am. My art is what shows people the inside of me. It expresses my feelings in a way that I usually can’t ever do,” said Leese. The idea for the art show came from Information Systems Technician 1st Class (IDW) Abel Aguirre, a local U.S. service member who wanted to give artists an outlet for showing their work, while also bringing the community closer together through the mutual appreciation of art.

Obtaining your Sojourner Permit Italian law requires all foreign personnel working or living within Italy, other than an active-duty member under military orders, to obtain a Sojourner Permit within eight days of arrival in Italy. This is different from a visa, which is merely an approval for entry into the country. All applicants over 14 years of age must apply in person, as each person's signature is required at the time of application. NATIONALS OF ANY STATE OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITY COMING TO ITALY DO NOT REQUIRE ANY VISA OR SOJOURNER PERMIT. As part of the Area Orientation process, the U.S. Region Legal Service Office (RLSO EURAFSWA) assists in the preparation and oversees the acquisition of the Sojourner Permit for all personnel attached to U.S. Navy commands in the Naples area. Army and Air Force personnel stationed at JFC must apply through the Carabiniere at the JFC Provost Marshall's Office, Building L. Contact Connie Henderson, RLSO EURAFSWA liaison advisor, at 081-5684639 for more information.

In the event of an emergency or to report a crime, please call the Emergency Dispatch Center at 081-568-4911 or 5911. (On-Base Dial 9-1-1)

Naples Army-Navy Flag Football Competition By MC2(SW) John Herman, Navy Public Affairs Support Element-East Detachment Europe

N

AVAL Support Activity (NSA) Naples hosted its annual Army-Navy flag football game Dec. 8 at the Naples American High School football field where the Navy won

19-13. While the official Army and Navy football teams faced off in Philadelphia, service members stationed in Naples, Italy hosted their own Army-Navy game on the same day to mirror the famous game. The game started with the playing of the Italian and American national anthems as the Naples High School NJROTC honor guard stood by, followed by some light inter-service jibbing by the honorary team captains. The weather held and did not rain, but it was still bitterly cold. The field, soaked from the recent rain, turned to mud as players fought for possession of the ball. Kelly Berger, intramural sports coordinator at NSA Naples who organized the event, said it was a major effort, requiring coordination with the local school for use of their football field, the staff at Carney Park to help prepare the field, and local volunteers to help run the event. “Everybody’s had a really good attitude about it,” said Berger. “The teams have really been looking forward to this all year.” “This is by far the best game. It’s great. Beautiful football weather,” said Staci Dietrich. “Last year it rained and Navy dominated the Army the whole game, but this year it’s a close fight.” For some, like Cheri Moyer, it was their first time experiencing the Naples Army Navy football game. “I told my son we would be going home after the first hour, but I was really impressed,” said Moyer, as she stayed through the rest of the game. The Army scored the first touchdown and led through the first half of the game. After half-time, the Navy team rebounded, took the lead and held on to win. With only five minutes left in the game, Army launched a vigorous offensive drive. They needed only one more touchdown to tie the game and pressed hard. Army quarterback got within five yards of the endzone before a penalty call took them back 15 yards. Undeterred, the Army then tried a pass, but it was intercepted by the Navy who then held possession until the end of the game. This has been the third consecutive win for the Naples Navy team.
