“ACCIDENTAL ROMANCE”

MANY COUPLES MEET BY ACCIDENT, BUT NOT USUALLY IN AN ACTUAL accident like Danesha and Anthony. Danesha was on her way to work one day when Anthony hit her car and then the two hit it off.

The couple began dating and the first time they went to church together, the Pastor shared a prophecy: Danesha would never have to worry about another relationship ever again. “It was very unexpected because we had planned to go and look at wedding rings after we left church. For Anthony, that was confirmation that I was to be his wife. He realized even more that God had aligned our paths and placed us on this amazing journey of love,” shares Danesha.

Anthony proposed on Super Bowl Sunday, February 2, 2020 during halftime. “We were having a Super Bowl party with family and friends when Athony walked into the place with a dozen roses,” says Danesha. The next thing she knew, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. “It was very romantic,” she shares.

The couple originally planned to get married in October of 2021. “After some consideration and influence from parents and grandparents, we pushed the date up to October of 2020,” says Danesha. They wanted to make sure their grandparents would be able to attend. “The thought of them not being here for the wedding made the decision much easier.”

The couple got married on October 24 at The Pearl Room. The venue was able to accommodate their wedding while staying in compliance with pandemic restrictions and made sure that everything was perfect. “Amanda from the Pearl Room was so exceptional and helped to make everything so easy for me,” says Danesha. “We really appreciated the staff along with Mr. Ed who owns the venue. He attended the wedding and made sure everything was done in excellence.”

One truly special detail of the wedding day was Danesha’s gold wedding gown. She designed it herself and worked with D&D Creations to create it. “Han of D&D Creations did an excellent job on my gown,” says Danesha. “I told her my vision of what I wanted and she brought it to life. She made some suggestions and worked hand in hand with me and Debbie of D&D created my mask.”

Danesha and Anthony had the wedding of their dreams and honeymooned at the Hilton Sandestin in Miramar Beach, Florida. “I would tell newly engaged couples to keep faith first of all,” shares Danesha. “Take their time and search around for what you want. There are a lot of people willing to work with you to make your day special.”
