NODA’s open meeting was held on September 21st at Fieldstone Farms TRC. We had a nice session of yoga, a tour of the facility, dinner and a short meeting. There were no additional nominations from the floor for the upcoming election; however, we do have a few new members interested in getting involved. My mantra will continue to be that we must have new people with new ideas to continue to grow into the future. Our organization must figure out new ways to deliver on its mission, ways that take into account the technology and the needs of our members today and in the future. We have a record number of members and a lower than ever representation of that membership at our schooling shows and our educational events. We need our members to get involved.
