T

he only soaking studio in Tucson, Healing Spirit Soaks features hot tubs made from cedar wood planks and a cold plunge in the copper claw foot tub. Post-COVID protocols assure safety for clients: ozone and copper ions in the filtered water kill bacteria and viruses, while also adding health benefits such as strengthening the immune system. The amethyst biomat pulsates far infrared rays into the body, which improves lymphatic flow, detoxification and immune function. “So many of us have been neglecting our own self-care as 2020 has brought a new set of challenges to the table. It’s time to venture out into safe environments, like the sacred space that Healing Spirit Soaks has to offer,” says owner Jasmine May, NMD. “Even if it’s just a 20-minute herb or gemstone foot soak in our beautiful copper soaking bowls, the benefit to your physical health as well as for one’s mental, emotional and spiritual health is worth it.” The studio has always been rigorously cleaned between clients, and now clients are assured plenty of time and space between visitors to Healing Spirit, as the studio is now only available by appointment. “You and the guests you choose to bring will have complete privacy and seclusion during your hour in the soaking studio. If you choose to receive the CBD salt scrub, the practitioner will be masked, or you may opt to maintain social distance and decline the salt scrub, says May. The studio also offers acupuncture, CBD bodywork, reflexology, Bowen therapy, vaginal steams and infrared sauna. The soaking studio can comfortably accommodate up to six in a party. Robes, towels and slippers are available in house. Location: 1074 N. Swan, Tucson. For more information, call 520-344-3250, email Dr.Jaz@HealingSpiritSoaks.com or visit HealingSpiritSoaks.com.
