Wedding Ideas: African Inspired Details

Bold and vibrant African-inspired details inspired by the Ashanti Tribe of Ghana

The inspiration...

"When Wedding Planning and Design team ILE Events thought of this shoot they wanted to ensure a level of authenticity of the Ghanaian culture with a modern twist. The African styled shoot is inspired by the Ashanti Tribe and we used elements to tell the story of their environments (tropical flowers & greenery), cultures (use of round pedestals to represent the Royal & Divine Throne Ashanti- Twi: Sika 'dwa), and traditional wedding fashions. Bright colors and vibrant lights created the vibe of joy through the photos. The ceremonial hand fasting brought a modern use for the Kente cloth and binding the couple together."
